[IC] BlueChoc - Yet another SA Keyset
« on: Thu, 17 October 2013, 20:00:27 »
I was playing around with some color schemes, and hit up with this one.

It looks really calm and cool, so I thought I'd gauge for interest. If I were to do a GB for this, I think SA profile would look best.

Also since there are a number of GBs, happening, this would not be happening just now, I"ll hold off for a while, so don't worry about your wallets :P

While I'm a fan of centered letters, and chocolate is a color I just don't see much of on keyboards. Could be nice.

Still, probably not in. Maybe I'll buy a set of something when I have a keyboard in desperate need of something with less dust than the circa '85 spares I've got.

I'd probably go for it depending on the profiling of the keys.

As weird as it sounds, I'd like a set that is SA profile but all row 3.

But, then again, I still might get this even with different profiles.

Same here.  I'll jump on this faster than a crackhead looking for his next hit.  Just make sure it's only an SA Profile and we'll all get high with this together  8) .

I'd be more interested in a cream or beige for the alphas.  To me, The BFM with its blue tint looks a little too stark against the brown.  What about something like the SP color YCA-GLOW?  It looks almost like white chocolate.  http://www.keycapsdirect.com/images/colors/absyellow.JPG

Damn it, none of the online editors have that color in their pallete.

It just occurred to me that the YCA-GLOW I suggested is probably a glow-in-the-dark plastic.  That's not quite the effect I had in mind :)  I any case, you understand where I was going.  Judging from SP's photos online, not that I'm advocating for them, WBO or TM look pretty close to white chocolate.

I'm not a huge fan of centered legends, but I do really like this color scheme. I'd buy a set.

Given it a few shots, just cannot stand the profile.

Edit:  I'd also love to see a mint chocolate set like this.

Oh, I thought this was DCS. Awkward. I should read better.

I don't like SA either. It's just way too tall for me to like, and I'm massively used to cylindrical keys at this point. SA also makes it a bit of a pain to keep everything nice and boxed since it's so tall.

Don't want to go for the yellow-ish color just now as originative might do Coffee-cream, which would be close.

That shade of blue looks like it's glowing. Interesting but brown = not my cuppa'. Kudos for the creativity though! I can see that this definitely has some appeal!

I love the Chocolate and tea colors.

Any plans for a possible invert of this? I'd be onboard for a trying to hit things up if I could buy things to where its the solid chocolate.

Third that! I think mint would be awesome instead of blue.

You may be onto something here.  "Mint Chocolate" is the better named key-set for this future Group Buy  :thumb: .

Would love to see some pics of it, just to know how interesting it could be......
