How often does these keycaps come up on the Market? Also where can they be bought is there a vendor i should be aware of, or do users mainly sell them?

They are sold by GirlDC a Korean how manufactures them, they come up in Group Buy's occasionally, and theyre sold in the classifieds too, but generally at a markup.

How much are they new?? I didn't realize the classified prices were marked up that much but I've also not dealt with buying any of these. Just curious.

Ordering: I don't know about the previous keycaps (it's possible that the early ones weren't even announced on Geekhack at all), but for the Gundam Unicorn and Zaku they made a group buy thread in their subforum and everything was announced as it happened, and went very nicely for me, with tracking number and email communication by girlDC.

The base price for a keycap varies by complexity (Tym is pretty much spot on with the range), and increases when bi-color and tri-color options are offered, or when a pair of cubic zircons (first Gundam series) or a gemstone (Zaku) is socketed in the keycap. My tri-color Unicorn Gundam was USD 130+25 shipping. If I remember correctly the original Gundam in black and gold with cubic zircons was 155, probably the most expensive yet. But don't climb on your horse yet, (again if I remember correctly reading this whole thread) the majority of the keycaps so far have remained priced under $100.

And I'm a poor student with expensive hobbies, so I limit myself to one of these (or two, if something radically different but just as awesome gets made by the same author); so my Gundam Unicorn is not going anywhere

the most expensive should be black darth vader, $160 before shipping....

Unless you are talking the rugged ironman.....which is a different story.

Most are priced around 100, as colour options go up, your prices go up too......

The ironman tends to be abit more as they are circulating in lower qtys, and they are pretty.
