Currently vaping Backwoods Brew Malty in a Kanger Pro Tank 3 on an eVic.
I know many people prefer to avoid high tech stuff like the evic but I've had great luck with mine. I finally bought a 2nd one. I dropped the first so many times it has a crack in the control head, so that will be my emergency backup. I do plan on fixing with a little epoxy. I've thought about going mechanical + kick for the increased ruggedness, but I don't like the idea of having to unscrew stuff to tweak my wattage. Not having to take the battery out to charge it is nice, and you can vape while it's charging.
If you think the evic has a ton of features that you'll never use, that is true to an extent. Varying the wattage over the time of your draw seemed like a killer feature to me, but I've never really played with it all that much. But in theory it sounds good. Something like start at high wattage for initial warmth, cool it down a little for flavor, increase again to get a nice throat hit at the end...
I've avoided the whole rebuild-able atomizer thing. Maybe one day.
