Your right, I've never seen anybody lube a case before.

perhaps I should contact mkawa and get one of those ps2 adapters while I'm at it.

:D  Maybe if you get 2, you can get TWICE the nkro!

Honestly, though, looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Well technically I've got 7 tops. One is a filco and will be left alone. One I'm sending to another member. So I'll have 5 to 'work' on!

the best use of the ps2 adapters i've found is to hardwire them to M controllers. no more of that ps2 junk at all. YESssss

You can improve on that, take a file to it, and then some sandpaper of various grit.

That is an interesting layout!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

that's pretty cool. is this just your primer or are you leaving it there? that flake would look awesome under some color and nice smooth clearcoat

the texture should come through future layers. UNLESS you layer a LOT over it and then smooth the upper layers with an abrasive. that's going to be seriously sweet looking if you can find some complimentary colors and then a gloss coat. i vote to leave it textured.

+1 textured, otherwise it might turn out to be Das SpAmRaYboard.
