Got mine in the mail today too. One of the easiest keyboards I've built in a while, since all the hard work is already done on the PCB.

Thanks Leeku!

Only got a crappy pic for now.

Hopefully this GB will run again ... please ...

Got mine in today, looks great! Sadly I seem to be having an issue with my z and numpad 7 keys not working. Contacted Leeku to see what should be done but looks like I'll be back to waiting again! SKIDATA is still a few months out so no biggie until then anyways. Leeku's been really great this far so I'm not worried.

I had a similar issue with my 1800 L3 PCB. The Prt Sc key was not registering keystrokes, even though the diode and switch tested OK. I fired up the JigOn tool and it saw all of my keystrokes and it allowed me to easily remap the Prt Sc key back to the correct function.

When I load up JigOn it doesn't actually register a press for the z and 7 keys when all other keys do.

Yes it is. By factory default(my home default actually :) ), the MX1800 has been mapped Pause key as FN key.
Cause Pause is most rarely used key(in my case sorry haha).
Pause will be issued with FN(pause key) + Scrlock.
Thanks for using it btw.

And Kempher's problem seems different as he said.

I emailed Leeku and he said it was okay as he has leftovers. However he will charge you a reasonable late fee of $30 USD

Glad he has extras for people who came in really late. The keyboards awesome, you won't be disappointing.

Sorry, but I am easily confused. I was aware that the Pause switch functioned as the Fn key, but I'm not sure how that relates to the problem that I had with the Print Screen key. I expect that I failed to adequately explain my problem. No matter, it was easily resolved.

Thanks for a great board and the JigOn tool. I've not even scratched the surface of JigOn, but it looks like there is quite a bit of functionality there.

Cheers!

I've been trying to figure out more about JiGon myself but anything I do with the lighting doesn't really do anything except the colors and rgb effects 1-6. Anyone have any advice for changing the lighting further or is that mostly it? I'm not sure what the key and arrow effects are supposed to do. I've messed with them but haven't seen any difference when changing to any of them. The sleep time is a wonderful thing though... Wish I could get my mouse to do that, it would make movies so much better.

Keys and arrow LED effects for inswitch LEDs.
And you can choose the color of each RGBs by drop down below.
rGB effects are not quite many. Just fading and let them hold on.

That's a bummer about the cases, but there's no reason why Swill's tool couldn't be used for the plate and case.

I am really on the fence buying one, but the anodizing job looks ****ed up.

Found here: http://imgur.com/a/vkWCS

Can somebody pleases give me a review of the anodized aluminum top plate (and maybe the bottom plate)?

/edit:

Nevermind:

I already got word from Leeku that there are no more Alu tops as I am looking to get one. I could possibly let my clear acrylic top go since I got both colors.

No alu, no buy!!!  :(  :'(

Agree!! Not the best quality. but it was my best effort for this price. Thus black mat acrylic is my favorite.

They are Duck feet. If I'm not mistaken there is no different between these any other Duck feet offered in different Group buys. Can someone please confirm?

I don't think there has ever been a specific group buy but if a duck board GB stats on Geekhack you can try and get the feet only. May cost $50 plus shipping but that's the price you have to pay.

Sorry I don't get "I didn't fall off the radar"
I sent your part btw have not received yet?

Fall off radar = forgotten about :).

Haha. I guess his is on the way still

lol yeah sorry, it's a figure of speech.  But I think "fiigure of speech" could be considered a figure of speech, so maybe I'm just making things worse.

But anyway, it's shipped and I'm sure it will arrive soon.
Thanks so much for your dedication.

Thanks. I also found out that it's also known as the Adafruit 1655 (on Digikey and Mouser, actually 1/3 of the cost of the other manufacturer). Put in an order for a few... looks like I'm going to be on a holding pattern before I can build out my Compact SQ. :(

I bought 10x for $4.50 -- I don't mind buying more from you to help you get rid of them. How much were you thinking?
