Looks good. Plain and straight-forward, but at least the legends are consistent across all the keys.

I suspect the main question is: can they maintain this consistency across 250,000+ keycaps?

I hope keypop gets on the molding for the 6.25 spacebar with SP, but would be nice if he can get SP to work on off center stem capslock either stepped or full touch, but I doubt the capslock will happen due to not enough interest to pay off the molding price. The space bar 6.25 for sure will get pay itself off and then some.

Looks like I'm gonna have to do stem mod on all color capslock's.

I don't think anyone needs to pay for any molding cost for the 6.25x space bar. As for the off centered capslock, SP is already making them since tsangan sets includes one, so no molding cost. Just need to reach their MOQ for reasonable price.

Not sure, but SP might sell some if they have them in stock on their site like some key caps they are selling?

If this GB goes well and lets say most of the keycaps are defect free, or all the defects that are reported by the buyers are taken care of by sending replacements I see no reason why there shouldn't be another GB down the road but in different colors.

I'm sure they can get different colors: purple,orange,coffee,cream etc etc etc, its a matter of buying the plastic in different colors.

I am a noob here. What's the benefit of having center stemmed/stepped caplocks instead of the plain old one?

There are two different standards for caps lock keys. Most modern Cherry MX keyboards have a caps lock key that looks like any other key and the stem is in the center of the key cap like on all other keys.

Keyboards made by Cherry have a stepped caps lock though, because it makes it easier to avoid hitting caps lock accidentally. On these keycaps, the stem is in the center of the higher part, and not in the center of the whole key cap.

In short: you need the right key cap for your keyboard, these are two incompatible systems.

Everything but the spacebar, left Windows-key and FN key. Everything else will fit, but the Control and Alt keys will have a slightly bigger gap to the sides of it.

If the Alt and Crtl keys are 1.5 then they will fit along with the 1x keys the set is coming with. You'd need to find another 1x for the Fn key. As well as the space bar as mentioned.

Right, I forgot there are two 1x keycaps included. Only a replacement spacebar is necessary then. Three 1.25x keycaps works fine in the 1.5x/1x/1.5x spot.

Well I was speaking with Tai Hao earlier about 6.25x space bars. They are now willing to make the tooling for it.

Gosh, they should've told me earlier because before they were just saying no, no 6.25x space bar!

1x6.25 spacebar: USD2.00 / per unit
MOQ: Total 2000pcs
Color Option: Black/Red/Blue/Yellow/Green
MOQ per color: 400~500pcs
Tooling Time: 1 month
Lead time: 1 month after finishing the tooling

Maybe another GB? But it's going to be hard to get to that MOQ.
