Thanks for the info, your sketches are beyond awesome by the way (Admittedly, I assumed it was 1-1-2-3-4-4)

As for the 2-3-3-3-4 part, it's really optimised for Windows users that have their Ctrl on the edge, for a more comfortable thumb-CMD or Ctrl usage, having R3's on the bottom is much more comfortable, Hack'd by Geeks is a good example, a near optimal SA sculpture choice IMO

But this applies only for a minority, as far as I see not many people use Ctrl/Cmd with their thumbs, so I'm sure the majority will like 2-3-3-3-4 or just don't care

As long as MD and the creator set the correct MOQs and price drops it should be OK. Otaku was horribly set up, with the prices set for child deals at 10 produced, which is obviously going to be incredibly expensive.

Indeed, if it is necessary to modify a kit to have a lower price I'll do it, as you said 40$ is too much.

I've updated and reduced the number of child deals.
All of those remaining kits should be on the GB. They could receive minor changes with the exception of the Ergodox kit, which is provisional.

Sure thing, that's my intention since I don't think there is a way to drastically lower the starting price other than that.

I suppose these might be more accessible, but if you want colorful retro sphericals I'm not entirely sure why you'd go with this set over the vast array of possibilities in Round 5a.

I suppose the timelines are different though. 5a is closing soon.

One thing though, I've noticed that the blanks and spacebars kit was removed from the list, and that the 7u spacebar was merged with tsaghan kit, so no 6u spacebars anymore.

Is this happening because of SP's missing 6u spacebar moulds? or simply that the need is too small?

I merged and deleted some kits since they could be counter-productive for the GB and we wouldn't reach a MoQ/DropPoints which could end with partially covered keyboards or expensive child deals. That's the reason why I added a 7U Space bar to the tsangan kit or deleted the airport novelties and gamer kit.

I have the preliminary prices for the set but I don't think I should post them since I've slightly changed some kits and the final prices over Massdrop could be different.

Lookin good - what software you using and what tutorials did you start with?

I used Cinema 4D. The sculpting was easy but the hard part so far has been lighting and adding a glossy plastic look to the keycaps. I didn't use any tutorial at all.
I didn't consult any tutorials since my PS experience and how the user interface was designed where too familiar for me.
