Is there a site I can see all of the different key cap colour codes on. Not just the ones in this group buy, but all the different colours. I would like to see what would like to see which of the blank mod kits I should get if the blank pro set does not tip.

http://keycapsdirect.com/colors.php
Thanks, I briefly looked around on their site, but I didn't find it. I might have just been blind though.

there's also a thread on here somewhere that tried to scan and color correct the color chips

Definitely interested! But as a modified keyboard n00b, I have a few questions:

I'm building an Ergodox to use with my Mac, so I was wondering what set of text modifiers would I need, 1u, 1.25u, or 1.5u on the Apple Kit?

And would this cover all of the keys I need?:
- Common Kit
- Ergodoxian
- Apple Kit
- Text modifiers

Thank you for your help & I'm looking forward to this!

Maybe someone can tell you what you need to know, just based on your description. But, I think it may be better if you post a picture (image, or mockup) of the Ergo's layout you want to dress up with this set.

1.5u mods for the outside keys and the vertical inside keys, 1u anywhere else. Note that the Text Modifiers kit is all funny sizes that won't match Ergodox, except the 1.5u Tab key (and the 1u PgUp and friends keys, of course), but looks like the Apple kit has what you'll need. (I'm getting the Pro Modifiers kit for the 1u and 1.5u mods.)

I think your proposed kit looks able to cover your board, though a 1.5u Backspace from Pro Modifiers kit is one you might want to consider...

I just tipped the Blue Enter kit to $11.25

Get it while it's hot, girlies!

We discussed the kits forever. I changed them one hundred times and still it seems I can't make it right. Maybe next time I'll do as pasph says: 3 standard kits and and no IC :P Or like 7bit does (basically 1 key per kit).

Anyway this is the current status.

I guess at this point who really wanted the set already got it and we will stall until the very last moment when we'll get the undecided.

Only problem is that I need some time to vectorialize the switch correctly and I don't have much time.

Does anyone has a very high resolution lineart image of the switch?

The top-view switch outline, is great.
Really like that one.

Sun logo, obviously.
The beaker(tumbler?) key is quite nice, as well.

You mean the flask? My suggestion, I really want to use it on F1 as Help key, as unfortunately matt3o removed the 'help' key from lost+found...
It's just such an allrounder, like it. Please go for it :)

BTW: I don't really like nerv and blue sun because i'm no fan of these series... can't they be changed too? How high is the demand after these caps?

Maybe you could consider to replace it with the sun logo. It is way too awesome to not have it in this nice set.

howdy,
first of all, I think this GB is a blast. Thanks for doing this.
Also for offering multilanguage sets, a true statement to an international comunity.
Will be posting the layout I'm buying for later on,
but for now I've got an Idea for that open cap... how about this:

Poker II takes any standard 6.25u spacebar. Thus, the one included in the common set will fit it.

Looking to get this for my 40%, but the price of the icon mods :(

Is there some other option I have here that does not utilize text mods or blanks to populate my 40%, some kit that could hopefully be gotten for around $20 or less. I need 2x 1u, 4x 1.25u, 5x 1.75u.

Thanks.

So the spacebar that will come with the common kit will fit the Poker II correct?

Poker II takes any standard 6.25u spacebar. Thus, the one included in the common set will fit it.

Wonderful! Thank you will definitely order!

This is the same problem I've been trying to solve. I wanted to get the blank pro mod set, but only 2 have been purchased so far.

My problem is I keep finding more-and-more sets that I "have" to have.

"Oooh. The Text Pro Modifiers would allow me to setup an HHKB layout"

"Oooh. There three kits would allow me to do an Ergodox (which I don't even own yet)

 :))

I know I've said it before, but matt3o has really knocked it out of the park with this GB. It's so flexible and looks so great!

Basically, if I want full set for my Poker II, it's enough to buy common kit + icon or text modifiers? Or I'll need Pro modifiers too?

All you need is the common kit and a basic modifiers (icon or text) and you'll be all set.  :thumb:

Thank you! I'll need cyrillic set too, but that pretty much it.

I've got my Poker II yesterday and it looks I've gonna be paid next week, so I think I'll not miss this GB :)
