He said on stream that it works and you can actually use the controller and build a full keyboard.  The switches themselves will change your url in your browser and go to techkeys.  I assume facebook goes to facebook and the email one opens whatever your default prog is and types in the techkeys email.  He also said you could change those things if you hack the firmware.

Denim shorts and dark gray t-shirt.  I don't know what the hell I was thinking but I chose a 4X shirt (I've dropped 80 lbs since Mar 1st, 2013) and I've been lazy purging my clothing as of late.

Having actually slept through most of it on a different continent, I am glad that it went so well :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I HAVE UPLOADED PICTURES, HERE THEY ARE.  I missed jcrouse (awful, I know, all those clacks and kustoms), all the ergo boards (sorry prdlm2009 and any others), and Melvang, eth0s, and rarar's stuff.  I also didn't take photos of my own boards, but you can probably find those elsewhere or ask me if you really want to see them.

Basically, I sucked at documenting this event.  Thankfully, we had a few people taking pictures so we should have everything covered pretty well.

We'll need Halverson himself to answer that.  I have no idea what the heck any of that stuff is.  "Meat, cheese, and bread" is the best I can do.  :D

I think it was bread, pickled onions, Pâté, blue cheese, some kind of pork, another cheese, pastrami and in the middle was a sweet sauce and stone ground mustard

Want me to post a picture of something at Keycon? Let me know

Post your favorite picture that explains the most out of keycon you have taken there. It must be badass, involves at least one keyboard and one custom keycap, and we must see at least one part of your body (a hand, a face, no ****).

I challenge you to post this. Are you really up for the challenge?
