GMK rep got back with me, here are the essentials of what he said:
They can't work with Pantone colors but he suggested RAL 1016 Sulfur yellow which is kind of off from our color.
If that color is fine with us (we can probably get SP to use the same color) it may be possible to get the custom color MOQ from 1000 down to 600 

I'm not enthused about the color. If you look up images of "RAL 1016" on google some of them look good and similar to what SP made, and others look closer to a regular yellow.

The colors don't looks at all the same to me.  :c

Are you saying we should try and get GMK to do the VAT color? If we stick with Signature Plastics we can get the color we want no problem. The issue right now is getting the color we want from GMK. If Signature Plastics was able to get it I can't see why GMK couldn't get it as well. I just need to find out exactly what it is that Signature Plastics made because it was "close to pantone 389" but not exact. Does that mean it was converted to an RAL or some other kind of color code? I just sent an email to SP so I hope to find out soon. I also asked about 8x and 10x spacebar sizes which I'm already pretty sure they can do.

Yea we are at around 600 on the base set right now before drops because of lost interest, or too expensive because of moving to GMK. We will also pick up extra orders from MassDrop and because of moving to GMK. If we drop down to 500 base sets and 400 "modifier" sets I can't see them not wanting our business.

I will still also be really happy with this set if we do the entire thing through Signature Plastics because the color looks so great IRL. I wish more people were buying the first Cherry replica legend set. Go buy the first Cherry replica legend set.

I think seeing the plastic color in person would really be necessary to make a judgement. Even best if you can just find out the plastic supplier so BOTH can get the same granulate.

I quite like Chartreuse, although under certain lighting I get the feeling it would look more yellow than toxic green.

When I asked SP for more details on the color Melissa said she just gave the supplier the Pantone code and they matched it. For some reason GMK can't work with Pantone codes and said they are only for print work which I know isn't true because you can buy paint for your house, cloth in various Pantone colors, and even cell phone cases. I guess GMK can only potentially get new colors from the RAL palette.

It isn't looking good for this set to be with GMK, but I asked to order a color ring of the colors they stock. Maybe after we do this one with Cherry replica legends and MassDrop we can attempt a GMK set with MassDrop.

I still want to try and get a legend on the ISO enter key through SP, and possibly the generic ISO legends in place of the blanks.

Thanks for keeping that in mind! As long as we get the same legends the Klaxon set had, ISO people will be happy.

Just get the colors right - Klaxon had the complete ISO set in red which meant you ended up with 2 red alpha keys that were supposed to be white.

It will be very lumpy.  With the size of this GB I was considering what it would cost to possibly have a Dvorak and or Colemak kit

When I get home I will grab my sanctuary set that is the same profile as this set and arrange it in Dvorak layout and post a pic

If this set had a Dvorak kit I would buy that in a heartbeat I so want to try Dvorak but don't want the wrong caps, cap profile issues, or blanks when learning.
