MY9 Switches
« on: Tue, 13 August 2013, 12:22:43 »
Ok, so I enjoy tinkering around with things WAY more than just buying something (insert bad creationist vs. evolutionist joke)

After messing around with some old keyboards, terminals, typewriters, and pretty much anything else I could get my dirty hands on I think I decided on my first REAL keyboard project.

MY9 switches

M9 switch with MY black springs

I really like the feel of the MY springs, but pulling them from the boards they are in will probably never happen w/o them getting destroyed in the process.

The M9 switch has such a nice thin profile vs the MX housing I'll get better glow from the custom LED's I plan on installing.

Has anything like this been done before?

I really just want to say these switches are MY9 and MY9 only!!!
