There are 8 LED modes:
1. Fade in/out
2. Fade in/out + keypress on
3. Brightness level - brightness increases on keypresses
4. Keypress on
5. Keypress off
6. Always on
7. Linked with Caps Lock - full LED on with Caps Lock toggled
8. Off - except Caps Lock and Number Lock(@backspace), those two are independent
To change the keymap, first you need to edit and compile the keymap(I can do that for you),
and then you need a deviced called ISP loader to upload the firmware to the PCB.
You can google 'USB ISP' to find out how they look like.
The rough price for PCB+Housing plus shipping would be little less than $250.
And one assembled will be a little less than $400.
Shipping will be $30 to $40 for a safe and quick delivery called EMS with a tracking number.
It normally takes around 4 days.
Looks really nice. Any idea why he has these dimples & bumps on the plate?
I'm pretty sure the notches are there because of the new plate thickness. The post that picture came from details how he is increasing plate thickness.
It also looks like it's a way for the plate to be universal for various layouts.
Any switch experts out there have a comment on the design?

That so you can swap springs/stem without desoldering
Looks nice, although for the first pic, sometimes you shouldn't crank the bokeh every shot. Would have been nice to see the board stopped down a bit...f16 or more
Are those LEDs on the sides? Intense.
Well, actually, those have nothing to do with swapping springs and stems without desoldering. :)
Binge explained well about that.
Those dimples/notches are there to firmly hold the switches at 1.5mm from the top of the plate since it's 2mm now.
There are latches on the top and bottom sides of cherry switches that are locked on the plate, the thickness of which is normally 1.5mm.
It's easy to design plates of 1.5mm thickness but I wanted to make it thicker for some reasons.
All housing parts are CNC processed, not laser-cut. :)
pretty sharp looking! I like how the middle layer of the case lights up, but I don't know how I feel about there not being sides on the case. I guess it wouldn't be an issue if you don't travel with it frequently.
Binge, was just wondering~ did you order it assembled or? I am negotiating for a partial assembly(he mentioned diodes/resisters, of which I have no idea what to do)
When would payment be due?
This thing shows incredible craftsmanship. I'm in awe. But dat price!
Ugh, I was worried I'd miss it. I'll chat him up about it. Thanks Binge! When would payment be due?
Apoc, I think you should totally shoot Kailet an e-mail using the info I have in my OP. :) I paid as soon as it was clear what I wanted so that I could reserve a spot in the queue so to speak.
His previous date was May 10th for orders. He has access to some more boards now, so I think he will be extending the time he will take orders.
Hey folks! Enjoy some recent pics of my 2TU. :)Show Image(http://cfile27.uf.tistory.com/image/242A964B5198E7CB314248)
Have a good one.

I love it!!!! My guess is no, but does it allow for removable switch tops?
Anyone have a bucket?
My drooling has become a bit overwhelming.
Hey Belfong--You're awesome Dee1. Thank you soooooo much!
I have one of these as well that I bought off of someone here. The secondary FN layer can be reached by selecting FN (next to shift) + Space. You'll see the capslock & backspace lights blink twice when you switch to the FN2 layer. If you hit FN+Space again, the same lights will blink once and you will be back to the default layer.
You can see the default FN2 layout here in this link: http://blog.winkeyless.kr/9
Edit: looks like the secondary FN layer is to make the bottom mod cluster become arrow keys, right? No other special functionalities aside from that.Yup, that's pretty much all that changes. I believe that layer can be customized as well if you want a different layout, but I haven't tried it myself. :)
You still haven't found the solution yet?I'm trying the re mapping software now. The post above was 4 days old. Thank you Kaliet.
Mail me if you're having any difficulties.
