Perfect plastic keyboard - NCR 3077 Case, Leeku 3000 PCB, ergo-clears or 55g nixdorf blacks, original Cherry dyesub keycaps.
Black switches with the original clear switch tops, found on old Nixdorf PCBs. They are generally known as Nixdorf 'Soft Touch' blacks. I find that they are perfectly smooth (much more smooth than normal or ""vintage"" blacks) and they require no lubricant (it makes no different to how smooth they are).Perfect plastic keyboard - NCR 3077 Case, Leeku 3000 PCB, ergo-clears or 55g nixdorf blacks, original Cherry dyesub keycaps.
What are nixdorf blacks?

Wow, that sounds amazing! Were they hard to get?Yes, they are very rare. No, you could not get them from that board. Only certain old Nixdorf keyboards have them. I do not know which ones..
Do you think I could get some from this board (http://www.ebay.com/itm/WINCOR-NIXDORF-Microsoft-Wired-Desktop-for-Business-Keyboard-WND-5MH-00001-/141138440544?pt=PCA_Mice_Trackballs&hash=item20dc81b160)?

lol...you know I was kidding about the MS RD piece of **** on ebay, right?:))
I'm absolutely in love with the keyboard I'm using right now… Poker X, 62g lubed clears, Hammer TI case, GMK Dolch.
The thing missing for me is a better layout. Once I get a new plate from The_Beast (1.5x ANSI with a short r-shift) and a GH60 PCB, I'm pretty sure this will be my optimal MX 60%.
I'd ****ing love a kishsaver though…

What do you have mapped to your arrow keys currently?
Or for a more conventional answer, a GH60 with the Nostalgia set in a white case (ANSI layout with custom function layers).Oobly, why you comeback to traditional? :-X

coreda, that's not a 60% fyi. it's a 60% with an extra right column. that's how there are so many extra keys
60% with function keys and connected numpad to the left with stock clears. Hangul double shot thick pbt keycaps. Metal case.. That's about it.
adjustable split / tentingErgodox?
programmable (including mapping held keys differently from tapped keys)
tactile, replaceable switches
light spring weight
symmetric layout
usable thumb keys
Cherry switches also aren't really tactile.
Hence why I said "usable" thumb keys :)Ah, I have pretty massive hands so I don't think I would have any problems with an ergodox.
Ergodox thumb cluster is too far away for me.

122 key IBM model F, standard (I think ANSI layout).
My perfect keyboard would be cybernetic implants at the ends of my efferent neurons...Show Image(http://www.emotasia.com/wp-content/uploads/totally-naughty-panda-emoticon-29.gif)
This:

MX browns with 62g ErgoClears on the thumb clusters, Esc, Del, arrows and edit keys. All switches trampoline and latex modded. Fully programmable and plug and play (no special drivers), custom layout (ADnW BU-Teck with some modifications).

Oobly, do you have a thread on this keyboard? It looks awesome and I'd love to learn more about it.
A beamspring keyboard in a TKL or 75% form factor, ANSI layout, and a low profile case for overall lower height. For some reason I was expecting something with more...LEDs XD
Perhaps a uniform 60g Topre..A man can dream...
60% Model M with NKRO and MX-compatible key caps.

Or just a kishsaver and you keep them BS keycaps? :p

This would be very nice.
I think a nice layout is the 75% layout on the Epsilon or Siig Minitouch. Or the 22MX mini (http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=41055.msg818868#msg818868). But I'd like Blue Alps switches. Aluminum case in the vein of a KMAC case/TEK-80/Hammer, stainless steel plate, true Purple LEDs, GMK/Cherry profile doubleshot ABS caps in a purple/pink colorway.
If we're going for dream keyboard status, swap out stainless steel and aluminum for inconel.

Do you realize how much of a PITA that stuff is to machine and work with?? That stuff almost has to be waterjet. Tooling for typical machining is STUPID expensive. That stuff as a plate would be ultra stiff though. I love the idea.

Of course I do haha. Hence why it's a dream keyboard and not anything practical :P.
If I had the means I'd be at the shop watching them break bits instead of dreaming about it ;).
A 60% keyboard, with ISO layout, MX Clears, fully programmable backlights.
At the moment.
