An old classic keyboard might be good for work - like a Model M, or a beige Alps keyboard.
They look too old and clunky to be worth anything, unless you cleaner is a secret keyboard fan.
Dude if you bring a Model M to work they're going to lynch you for all the noise xD .

Get a Model F or an Omnom, they'll hear you through the walls of the office xD .Dude if you bring a Model M to work they're going to lynch you for all the noise xD .
My boss at a job some 6 years ago had a Model M. They gave him an entire room on his own. I think what he did, was incredible strategy. I have loud clicky switches ordered for a lets-annoy-everyone keyboard, because I want a room on my own as well.
So, loud keyboards have their uses in the office too! Just make sure you are valuable enough first. ;)

Unicomp Model M's, they have windows keys.
The keycaps on the Model M's are all the same profile, so you can re-arrange them in DVORAK and the keyboard will still have an ergonomic arch to it because its on a curved backplate.
Not to mention, they are delicious thick dye sub PBT.
Unicomp PC122 for sure. Without a doubt. Let your office buddies know who is boss.
Oh.. Dvorak hmmm. Pok3r 60? Phantom 87? Infinity 60? Satan GH60? Planck? Atomic? Ergodox? CODE?
I'm guessing you can't do layout switching on the office PC. If you can switch the layout and you touch type, any keyboard should input as Dvorak.
Go Ergo!
Get a MS Sculpt Ergonomic (yes, scissor switch, but it's fantastic)
or Ergodox so you can have DVORAK!
I briefly had BS boards at work...too loud for the open environment and too fatiguing even for someone who also had a keyboard full of tactile greys :P

I'm using a Filco Majestouch 2 TKL at work with MX Brown switches. It seems quiet enough not to annoy my colleagues.
I just put the clear plastic cover which came with the keyboard on it overnight, which seems to discourage the cleaners from trying to clean it with some possibly unsuitable product.

Haha. Even after cleaning the Dell isn't bearable. I had to use multiple. I literally throw them away at the office and told my boss that they aren't keyboards, but employee bullying apparatus. So I bought a mech with blank pbt caps and everybody is like "bro.. you fooling us? why no legends? you think you better than me?" And then I have tmux open with vim and python and syntax highlighting and all that and than my colleagues are all like "dude what is that? is that minority report?" And then I'm sad sitting in a corner that I have no reallife programming friends that understand. And then I'm on GH again for a couple of hours :D

Let them hate. MK addiction is great. Except for my wallet..
Get a model m.. it is commonly agreed upon as the most annoying to co-workers.

Good I should get that then. I have a personal office and when I leave my door open, anybody can hear me. Win-win: they cannot say anything because it's my office but I would still annoy my co-workers. Awww yeaahh.
Plus, it'll be my first proper BS kb.

Also, this might be an unpopular opinion, but I think getting a NEW unicomp is better than digging through the pile on Ebay..
Hahahahahaha.. Gotta get blank caps though, cuz u want to look 1337 @ your job.
Blank caps. Noted. Soo... what can I do to even more annoy my co-workers? Any tips or recommendations? :D

Non-qwerty layouts. Preferably something that is very different than QWERTY, such as Dvorak. (No Norman or Colemak, as those keep too many keys at the same position). Add a split keyboard too, and a left handed trackball.
ErgoDox with blues, blank keys and Dvorak, with a left-handed trackball between the two halves. That sounds fairly bad for anyone who has to listen, or attempt to use the keyboard.

Actually... it sounds horrible for me to use as well. I like it! Would be better if the ergodox has BS.. even noisier than blues. Well.. blues have a higher pitched noise so blues may be more annoying even.

You can place a mic & and amplifier near the keyboard, perhaps even mod the ErgoDox, and broadcast your typing at full volume. Oh, and leds that constantly light up in random colors, under random keys.

That's goood. That's REAL goood. You know what.. I should install disco lights in my office and make them change colors and patterns upon random keystrokes. And whenever I press spacebar you should hear screaming or moaning. And occasionally, after every 1000 keystrokes, it should send random crap to the printer.

Just pay attention to the disco lights following the rhythm of your typing, to haze a connection with the keyboard. Otherwise it is not cool, it's just random crap. But wired up to the keyboard... that is CLASSY AS ****.
Niicceee. What about colors? All colors of the rainbow I suppose?

Yep. Those can be random. But there are many possibilities!
You mentioned looking at the CODE earlier, you could get the non-backlit V2 model with MX Clears and have 'em print a Dvorak layout.
I currently use a Sculpt Ergo at work and brought my TKL V2 a few times, though it's mostly meant to stay at home. No complaints about noise from the nearby cubicles.
I don't have any BS boards to test their reaction... Come to think of it I'd probably just gain "geek cred" with the old timers :P More so if I somehow wound up with an old SGI board since that's what they ran years ago. (I keep my eyes peeled when in areas with older gear lying around, just in case.)
