Wow Hi Bonjour! Please welcome MW Aegis, a debut set inspired by a certain legendary blade.
With any luck, together we can all harness the power of the Aegis!

KITTING

This base kit has compatibility for
full-size, TKL, 75%, 65%, 60% and 40% boards along with
support for F13 boards and Alice layouts.


DARK ALPHAS
The dark alphas will allow you to swap into an entirely new feel with the same kit.

hey i found a couple tiny errors

base kit
- mod coloured tilde was left as alpha colour
- r1 pipe is mod colour
- no f13 here or in the set at all
- r2 mod pipe is missing sublegend
- minimal 40s support is supposed to be r3 1.25u tab, r3 1.5u enter, and r2 1.75u backspace with an optional r2 esc, this ignores two of those keys and adds a second r3 1.25u key instead
- r3 pipe for terminal iso is mod colour instead of alpha
- r4 >< for terminal iso is mod colour instead of alpha; there's also a duplicate of this key on the right side on top of it not having its ろ sublegend
- there's an extra 1.25u shift

dark alphas
- the f5-f8 keys included are useless because they still leave white f1-f4 and f9-f12 keys
- tilde is in r3 for some reason
- r2 alpha pipe is missing
- 1u pipe is in r4 while base has it in r3 for terminal iso
- r4 >< key for terminal iso is missing in this kit
- oh and alice b is missing
- has 00 key while base doesn't
- also looks like it has alternate homing while base doesn't
- doesn't have red minibars, which can't be found in any of the other kits either
- missing labels

other
- bars kit is missing a cream 7u
- maja render has black minibars which aren't offered anywhere in the kits
- renders do not show keys included in dark alphas, novelties, or bars kits for some reason

i think you should take some time off and develop more attention to detail before continuing with this keyset

According to John in the MW discord this hasn't been approved.

You have red alt alphas but don't show a single render with them, so I'm not exactly sure whether they will look good together.
You have light yellow accents but don't show a single render with them, so I'm not exactly sure whether they will look good together.
Your last render has black small alice bars, but there aren't any in your kits.

Very nice set :thumb:, however, don't you think the dark alpha set would work better with F1-4 and F9-12 colored instead of the way it is currently?

The base kit modifiers must all be emerald green when you go by the colour theme of the Aegis. Then when the dark alphas get swapped for the character keys, it will perfectly suit the theme.

Just the control, alt R4 being emerald green on black will be sufficient. Also add a F13 key to both the base and dark alphas with the respective theme to support F13 layout boards.

If you're not going to do a 40% modifiers kit—which you should consider, because this is an inexpensive PBT manufacturer rather than GMK, with restrictive MOQs and expensive child kits—you're missing two of the three most important keys for physical compatibility:

  • Q-row (R2) 1.75u Backspace
  • Home row (R3) 1.25u Tab (you have this one)
  • Home row (R3) 1.5u Enter

You should add 1.75u Enter as well, since again this is not GMK. You've got room for better compatibility in a dye-sub PBT set.
Do keep the 1.25u Enter though, I'm sure a couple of Mercutio owners would appreciate it.
