Hi, a friend of mine is in London right now and I´m trying to find this "Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9005 Black 32GB", the 4G version.

I'm doing some searchs but the only ones that I've found until so far are those tied to Vodafone/Verizone etc (with contract).

I need it for "international customers"

Any help will be welcome - I don't know London, never been there in my life (yet)

You can pick one up online, say from Amazon. There is a catch though : All Note 3 are either SimLocked to network or Region locked unless you buy some Asian or Middle Eastern versions (I stress some, not all are unlocked)

What does that mean:

Sim Locked to network <-- Pay or get unlock code from the network you purchased phone from, i.e  Vodafone/O2 etc... and your phone is free to be used on any network.  (no region lock is applied as network lock is in place)

Second type of lock:

Region Locked <-- If you for example buy simfree it will be region locked, meaning you will only be able to use it ... say in Europe, in that only European sims will load, otherwise the phone will prompt you for unlock key. From my experience the lock is enforced (having purchased from Amazon.co.uk), but after approx 10 days of using the device, it unlocks itself. Due to many complaints Amazon changed the product title twice:

From:

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Sim Free Smartphone - Black

to

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Sim Free Smartphone - Black (Regional SIM lock)

to

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Region Locked Smartphone - Black

(see reviews on Amazon.co.uk) to acquaint yourself with the region lock issue ... just a heads up ...

You could also try heading to Tottenham court road (on the central line) :-) and asking around the phone/electronic vendors.
