Dolch PAC conversion to USB or PS2?

Do you guys know of anyone that's done a conversion to USB?
Kinda concerned with the 6ft req on the ps2 cable -_-'

I converted mine by getting a PS2 cable from mimic cables, and then by stripping off the non-ps2 end. So what I would do is get a PS2 cable from your favorite cable maker, have them keep the one end stripped, have them tell you where the GND, 5V, and the others are, and then follow one of the other guides for the PIN-OUT, and just directly solder it to the board.

I know I've seen them, I do believe you can go from the dolch original to ps2 then use an internal ps2 to usb adapter and either go attached or detached with the usb from there.

Or crimp a 4P4C plug to the cable so that the mod is easily reversible in case you would like to sell the board later on.

BTW, get also a slim cable because the Dolch case's cable hole is narrow.

I had a 4p4c and it was too wide, unless tjcaustin didn't use a 4p4c and instead an RJ11

In my case I already had a Soarer's converter around for use with a terminal model M. So on the Dolch PAC I lopped off the RJ11 connector and crimped on an RJ45 connector translating the Dolch pinout (described here http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_G80-1813) to the terminal pinout (described here https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=17458.0) that the converter was expecting. Works great!
