The number was $150... But I now want a PCB mounted board.  :p
And some blank keycaps.... and cherry clear switches. o-rings as well.
My wishlist so far
Neo zelia 87
poker II
Ducky mini
Keycool 87 key
And a keycool 84 key...
^^^$511
So yea I think I found a new addiction... I will not be buying a new board soon. I still need to pay some bills for what I bought for my computer.

Just be warned the ducky mini is only ISO. If you're an ISO user this is fine, but every other keyboard on that list is ANSI.

Same here.  I've amassed a thousand posts or so in another forum, and a few hundred somewhere else, but this place seems different somehow.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I feel the complete opposite, I literally only lurk GH. I've probably been visiting this site for well over six months, but I have like thirty posts.

edit: as opposed to other forums, I mean. I post on a video game forum quite frequently and on reddit quite a bit but with GH I just watch people foam over clickclacks and their HHKBs while I sit behind a 660c quietly giggling.

I was very active on OCN as I really like building/modding computers.  I was very heavy in the modding area (especially sleeving), but grew tired of the same questions being asked over and over.  Came over here when I got my first Ducky to get in on a group buy (The Toxic set which is yet to start), and ended up really liking it here.  There is the same feel as OCN with a handful of people that are very interactive.

wut. i'd buy a ****ty IBM board for that green V2

I did the same with OCN.  But OCN is huge in comparison, so naturally it has a lot more traffic.  People ask the same beginner questions over and over here as well :)  People are on average the same--human nature!

True.  I probably just don't notice them as much on here as I am still learning myself.

I think I have the basics down though:

Razer BW = bad, Korean custom = good.  Thorpe is king.  Go GMK/Cherry or go home.  Did I get it right?   ;)

Yes Topre is king. As king, I would say the egrodox is not my queen. The uTron is my queen. Razer is also not complete garbage, it's a great type of product that is just spelled wrong and should be straight razor.

One of the things about this forum is the lightweightness, often thanks to my great internet, I can't access other forums, so end up coming here.

It is a vortex, a blackhole, a money and time pit!

Vortex keycaps have horribly inconsistent legends.
