I have a Cherry g84-4100
I know Cherry MLs doesnt support plate mounting, but could you add a thin aluminum plate beneath the pcb to reinforce, or some kind of steel, obviously covering it with some aislant to prevent short-circuits.
You can find pics of the kb disassembled here

and a video here

You could do it but it'd would have to be custom designed.

I'm guessing you could either add something very thin underneath, although I don't know how thin it would have to be to not interfere.
Or alternatively, you could have a possibly thicker plate that goes around the switches.

You could just cut/fold some paper to the right size and stick it between the case and pcb. It is really cheap and shouldn't take too long. Cutting multiple layers would probably be best, if you fold it it would take less time but I don't think it would be solid enough. Your cuts don't need to be precise. Plus it isn't conductive so no shorts to worry about.
