Qisan Magicforce with Gateron blacks

I'm looking for some feedback on the durability or build quality of the keyboard case itself. I'm especially interested in the Gateron black.

Gateron Blacks are renowned for being much smoother than modern MX Blacks.

I have the backlit version with browns and I can't imagine it would be any different (besides the obvious) than the one you're thinking about. The leds are bright and uniform. The keys are nice enough, perfectly symmetrical. The board itself feels solid and doesn't flex at all. When you factor in the relatively low price and free shipping for me (hooray prime) it was a great decision. I wanted small and it is that yet I don't find it inconvenient in any way to use. The only thing I would change is the silvery shiny bits. I've also heard there are no replacement cases out there. I plan to paint and modify mine some. I'm thinking about a taihao hawaii keycap set and painting the case flat black. I also prefer the gateron browns to their cherry mx counterparts. I hope this helps. Build quality is actually pretty good.
The case itself is actually impressive, I had planned on doing some work to make it look better but found it was much better than I expected it to be. The quality is far better than my Gen 1(?) Vortex Filco case I have.

Common complaints about the Magicforce (also sold under the Qisan name):
A. The spacebar can rattle a bit, it doesn't bother me, but it drives some people nuts.
B. The backlit version has a glitch where if you try and force a hard refresh (I think it's Alt F5), it does something odd instead. Nothing like crashing the system, but it doesn't do what you want it to.

Other lesser complaints:
Some dislike the fonts and, at least on non-backlit, the legends will fade (mine are fading). One person had a backlit model kick the bucket after a few months, but its the only the one we know of so don't let that dissuade you. Everyone with them seems to agree, they are actually quite good, especially for the price. And yes, you can ad lights to the non-backlit, however you cannot control them through the onboard controller.

Personally, I think it's comparable with far more expensive keyboards and I actually use mine as my primary keyboard instead of my Filco.
