I'm trying hard here not to tell you how to run your business, because I know I hate it when my customers do the same to me.
That said, I really urge you to consider developing a method to fulfill orders that do not include RAMA caps, or any other SKU which has a different supplier than the other SKUs, while waiting on that SKU to be available.
As a customer, waiting for fulfillment because a SKU I didn't order hasn't delivered yet, particularly while all of the other proxies are delivering, feels BAD. Like, so bad that it's going to subconsciously influence my decision to buy in the future. Even if, as is the case, I have purchased from you several times with zero bad experiences.
A couple things here.
1 - RAMA keycaps are completed and currently in transit to the RAMA WORKS team. They expect they will have this shipped out to us this coming week.
2 - I understand that it can be frustrating to have to wait just a little bit more.
But, in terms of the RAMA keycaps in the future - there are two options.
1 - I separate them out, just like I do with deskpads. This means that there would have to be separate shipping paid for the RAMA keycaps vs the GMK (or other manu) keycap GB.
2 - I continue doing them like they are, which I believe is the better of the two options. Customers get to save on shipping costs, and have the keycaps shipped all together.
This is the
first delay that we have ever seen with RAMA, and it was caused by an event that no one could predict. We already have on hand other RAMA keycaps for future GB's where we are just waiting on the keycaps. This is just a one off experience so far.
Through this experience though, we have been completely transparent and open. We have kept everyone updated. Processing and shipping out over 500 orders is something that needs to be as organized as possible to minimize any type of errors.
If this is so bad of an experience for you, I apologize and will understand if you do not purchase from us in the future.
