QMK Flashing Help

So I just got my Tina C in the mail and have tried setting it up; however, the Fn layer doesn't appear to be functioning. Does anyone know how to flash a new layout so that the Fn layer works using QMK, or is there a better solution? I was hoping to flash it to a standard HHKB layout, as I've used it before.

Hello - Tina C is a case style - they can house many different PCBs as it has a universal 60% tray mount setup.

Do you have any more information on what PCB is in it?

Did you buy it prebuilt from KBDfans, did you build it, did you buy from someone who built it?

Is that so.. I bought it prebuilt from KBDfans, so using their own PCB I assume... in the meanwhile I attempted to flash it to a different layout using QMK toolbox and it seems to have been rendered unusable. Is there any way to fix that?

I am not up to date with what they put in them for a PCB - maybe a DZ60 or KBD6X?

You may be able to find the correct hex and try to flash it again - I am not certain what you did when you "flashed" it with whatever you did.

You can take out the PCB and there will be a name on it somewhere

I've got it disassembled and it's a DZ60 Rev 3 PCB from comparison; however, without a physical reset switch. If what I'm reading is correct, I should connect the two pinholes labeled 'reset' using a clip or tweezers while plugged in?

Update: Completely fixed it, I just connected the reset and was able to reflash it to the desired layout successfully via GMK toolbox. First time taking apart a keyboard, was damn scared it was going to break!

Honestly, you're right! Outside of the fear of having completely crapped my brand-new keyboard, the whole disassembly, learning something about the PCB design, figuring out drivers and QMK let me understand my keyboard a lot better. And after spending ten minutes fiddling with screwing back in the internal screws, it made me respect how well put together it is compared to most commercial stuff. Thanks for the encouragement!
