Any update of the GB time?

We're currently working out pricing, will announce the date once that is done.

Are the R3 blanks convex?  They don't look like it in the render.

As far as I know SA doesn't have small convex bars. Only R3.

Good point.  I was thinking of GMK.

Confirming that those are not spacebar shaped. SP SA tooling only offers 4u, 6.25u and 7u as far as I am aware.

any possibility of Sol2 support for Ergo kit?
2x 1.5 R3
1u R2, R3, R4 for inner column
Yes, please consider adding two more R3 1.5u keys to the Ergo.dox kit for boards like Boardwalk, Sol 2, Pan, Mün, etc. I would really prefer not to buy another mod kit just to get those two keys. I suppose if the 40s kit were super cheap I wouldn't mind buying it for more R3 1.5u and some 1.25u keys. While I also have a Sol 2 that has 1u inner mods, I would probably just use the 1us left over from the from the thumb cluster and ignore the sculpt because those mods are separated from the alphas. Alternatively, you could buy the Assembly kit for those 1u keys. Actually, the Assembly kit would be a pretty good add-on for Ergo users because of the 2u blanks in the Alpha colors. Hopefully they aren't too expensive.

BTW, the only two flaws that I saw in the otherwise excellent Assembly Base Kit in GMK Oblivion V2 were the lack of two additional R4 1.5u keys and a second 2u convex spacebar.

Confirming that those are not spacebar shaped. SP SA tooling only offers 4u, 6.25u and 7u as far as I am aware.
Does SP really not offer convex 2u spacebars? That's a bummer. Would have liked to see those in the Assembly and Ergo.dox kits. You would think that there would be enough demand for that size...

Yes, unfortunately ISO is a no-go this time around:

...
For these reasons, I have removed some decorative kits (tenkeyless.asm, macros.asm, LED, OSX, communities), as well as Minila, Colevrak and ISO layout kits. Once we've weathered 2020 and MT3 Oblivion happens, I intend to bring back Typist and International support.

Hello everyone,

I'd like to introduce the second version of SA Oblivion. I've been asked a lot through PM's and such when this set would return, after all it has soon been 2.5 years since the last time you could purchase this without having to scour extras and mechmarket, so it's long overdue. Originally, my plan was to run the set again in MT3 doubleshot when I saw matt3o doing MT3 Susuwatari. However that set has yet to ship, and also I would want to use a different font for this (and other) projects if I were to go the MT3 route.

So there is a project to get MT3 Oblivion?

Yes, I wish to make MT3 Oblivion one day. It just wasn't time yet as MT3 Susuwatari has yet to ship (the first doubleshot MT3 set), and I wouldn't be doing Oblivion with the existing legends so a complete retool of the legends would also be required.

Good sir...when you make this in MT3,  all my dollars will be yours lol.  Cant wait for this to happen.

I made an account just to express interest in this set. For me, this set is comparable to, but has a few legs up on Susuwatari:
1) SA profile (I type with my ergodox flat on the table, so MT3's declined keycaps do nothing for me)
2) Ergo modifiers that aren't blank
3) More vim modifiers

Please make this happen!

Might be in on this for the Ergo and Hagoromo kits. The trash talk on SA has me nervous, but this looks pretty slick.

I did a full refresh of the renders, added a 2nd B to the Alphas and trimmed 1u/2u shifts from Modifiers to improve pricing.

Currently renovating my room into a office space so a bit busy atm, but will be sharing more news this week!

I haven't been following Drop that closely, but I think so far they've only tried EU-based fulfillment for some of the audiophile stuff, never anything mech keys. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I would guess slim to none, considering there is neither ISO nor international keys available. Sales to the EU market will be pretty slim.

It’s fair to say that Susuwatari ended up closer to Oblivion as a keyset but not fair to say that Oblivion would look like this if made in the MT3 family.

R1 Delete is used on 60%, 65% and 75% boards, not just 1800's. You should move this key from the numpad kits to the mod kits.
