capsunlocked is in the working on Linear Switches manufactured by Durock and wanted to get some feedback.

We are considering desiging two switches; a translucent / smokey neon housing and a solid pastel colour housing. The switches will be the same but the colours will be different (for example one might be neon pink and the other might be pastel pink).

Specs:
- Manufactured by Durock
- 45g Actuation / 55g Bottom Out
- Linear
- Colour: TBD

Pricing and MOQ:

- MOQ: 50K Units
- Pricing: About £0.50 per switch (inc VAT)

What it comes down to with all of these recolors is weight and price per switch. I like durock switches so I'm not opposed to another one.

But. Opticboards pushed out silent durocks for 0.47 gpb per switch with a 50k MOQ that wasn't completely reached.

So at that price, be prepared to buy out a loooot of switches.

Would it be possible to know "why" ?

What is the process/purpose behind ? Having your own custom color (which does not seem to be the case since it's TBD), you would like a specific custom one for the sound ? The feeling ?

If it's a clone of another existing switch could we have a sound test ?

I'm somewhat interested even if it is another JWK linear, I do like lightweight switches.

What are these "translucent/smokey neon color" and "solid pastel color"?
What are these neon pink and pastel pink color you speak of?
You want us to just imagine how these switches would look like?
You do know that colors do come in different hues, shades, and tones right?
And you want us to answer an IC form going at it blindly?

"Hey guys I plan on making pink switches, don't mind the what kind of pink it is, just answer the IC form and use your imagination"
