I would greatly prefer a vertical stripe on the ISO-enter instead of a single dot. The single dot looks out of place with the other mods in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity, I don't see an Ergo kit in here. Will this run go without it this time around? I'm not exactly saddened, because it does seem a bit redundant considering the blank-ish form of the set, but it would be be nice to know.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the Nomad kit can be greatly reduced in size:

259783-0

All of these are already included in base kit and are redundant for 40% layouts.

Unless the goal is to add a Nomad kit to a Rainbow kit and cover 40s that way. However, it would then require three or four more R4 1.25u keys and you can drop all the 1u keys.

I was just coming to comment on the fact that this isn't an IC at all. Rather, it's a statement of fact of what's to come. There's no form, I don't think he's taking feedback. GB is in two weeks.

The post says that the colours are the same as R1 but the renders look much darker and closer to black than the dark blue of R1. Is that just all of my monitors and displays being that off?

Knowing myself it will be difficult to resist getting almost every kit, but the wallet woudn't be very happy.

Any chance to have renders with mixed Dark/Light kits?
Or Dark mods + Light Rainbow and Light mods + Dark Rainbow?

In my head it looks good, but seeing a render would be awesome, especially with the rainbow kits.

Some kind discord users posted basic photoshops of combinations on Biip's discord.

Because white keycaps on black deskmats doesn't match in my opinion. [because of the different colors on it]

with the still growing gmk backlog we might even have sa dots earlier than with gmk if started at the same time^^
i remember when i got into the hobby gmk lead times were 3-4 months, now we're already at 12+ with hammerhead, i don't even want to think about when we will be able to install dots2 on our keebs :eek:

Is there any way we could get a convex r4 1.25 for split space? It's the only thing missing in the set and a lot of split space boards have a 1.25u in between their spacebars.

Hey I know it's a bit late but given that it's almost gb time and I know this is a big ask but would you consider reworking the nomad kit into the basekit rather than force a kit that has a lot of repeating keys and no real spacebar support. Seriously buying 3 kits for a small boards that won't use 60% of those keys on a set that doesn't have legends is a bit stupid tbh. I understand why you couldn't add 3 keys for awaken since you brought up the point of too many molds are being made but this time around the molds are already made and shouldn't be an issue.

The keys needed for this change are:
-R2 1.75u in the gray, the 1u backspace is already covered in base, and nobody cares enough for the orange dot being replaced by some other colored dot when it saves them money
-R3 1.25u tab, r3 1.5u enter or tab and no need for r3 1.75 as  enter is already covered by caps lock and the 1us are entirely uneeded because of the r3 1us in the set already.
-R4 1.5u of any kind for shift and even then it's not really needed since we have bottom row on this legend less set. And the 1us can be sprinkled on since you would only need 2 1us more at most if at all since you already have 8 1us of different colors on the basekit so it shouldn't really be an issue. Evan/Trashman has depreciated the lock key so there is no reason to bother with it if it means thinning out a kit

Mito has shown that it is possible to do this style of kitting with legend less sets and I hope you at least give it a thought to do the same since the current kitting is inefficient and lacking. Some others suggested that you trim the kit and add better bars support but I'm personally going to push basekit 40s.

Tldr you only need 3 keys(r2 1.75, r3 1.25, and r3 1.5u) at minimum to properly support 40s in a much better kit and not force the purchase of 3 kits for small boards(base, 40s and spacebars)

P.s. can we preferably get the smaller r3s in not gray since this is supposed to be a colorful set and there really is too much gray but that's besides the point of what I'm saying. And I really do hope you give it some thought.

Thanks for bringing back this set and adding a light base kit!

I have two questions:
1. Any consideration for adding one more alpha-colored R1 1u key for people wanting a uniform R1 for 60% keyboards?
2. Any consideration for duplicating the barred keys in the Rainbow add-on kits as a standalone "Homing" kit? It would make it more affordable to purchase a standalone Homing kit for paired, accent, barred keys depending on the color one fancies.
