Cooler Master Quick Fire XT improvement?

hi everyone. month ago i have bought a cooler master quick fire xt keyboard with cherry blue switches. i was dissatisfied of the switches because some of them weren't clicking properly, so i decided to replace them with cherry mx black hyperglides and cherry mx clear for win keys (all springs are lubed). also, i have replaced stock thin abs keycaps with some pbt blank cherry profile keycaps. the stock costar stabs are lubed a little bit. I really enjoy typing on this keyboard, but I feel that this is not the end and this keyboard can be improved but i don't know how exactly can i make this keyboard better. Orings suck.

list of my ideas that possibly aren't worth it
•colouring the keyboard case (teal or aquamarine maybe)
•gluing some kind of rubber to the case bottom (like in the silenced hhkb)
•noise isolation
•pe foam (but i don't really know what it is to be honest)

Try the easy stuff first. Many people are pleased with the sound change after laying some non-slip rubber drawer liner inside the case. Don't glue anything, just lay it in.

A bit quieter with a deeper, more mellow sound. In general, a more "quality, solid" sound.

My very first advice, if you have the means to do so, would be to desolder everything, lube the switches, lube the stabs and put it back together. Should greatly improve both sound and feeling. Then, while it's disassembled, try what Tactile said. It'll tune down the clicky sound of the switches, probably. Be sure to post back when you're done tho!

Another unfortunate victim of Cherry MX blue. I hope you give clickies another chance some day. Even the Outemu and Gateron clones are much more consistent than Cherry ... but the MX click mechanism is pretty terrible in general.

Just like some of the other comments said, putting foam under the PCB would be a great idea.

About the PE foam mod, some people love it and some people hate it (IMO I think its sound is somewhat overrated) but basically, when the foam is on the PCB under the switches it affects the sound at the cause and basically somewhat gives a louder more muted sound (makes sense right?) that frequently causes the keyboard to be somewhat marbly-sounding. I have tried different materials for the same mod and the main what that I liked was LD-PE foam, when testing it on my KBD67 Lite it didn't give the same full-on marbly sound that PE foam gives but brought out the sound a bit more and made it slightly louder. Probably won't be using either PE foam or LD-PE foam for any of my future keyboards but just wanted to give some info on it that nobody asked for.

in my experience clicky gaterons (or other cherry mx clones) are much worse compared to the genuine cherry switches. gaterons have literally no tactility and the click is annoying

Maybe my test switch is an outlier, but I have mostly read good things about them as well by comparison. All of my Outemu boards are much crisper and less rattly than Cherry, with more defined tactility (probably helped out by the lack of rattle). The Gateron in my tester was almost indistinguishable from my Outemu boards, but that's 1 of 1.

Even my Outemu boards are just disposable boards I lend out to people to try mechanical switches for the first time. I can't stand typing with just about anything MX-based anymore. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hate every other Outemu MX clone switch I have tried besides blues. Even their browns manage to be scratchier than Cherry's. The tactile event is just better and more consistent with Outemu blue vs Cherry. I haven't tried any MX or clone that didn't feel and sound extremely plasticky, so I guess I'm not concerned with which ones sound slightly more or less so. lol
