Of some note, this is a UK layout version.

It's still a steal even if you can't use the keyboard feet. It only ships within the UK though.
IBM Model F XT + Soarer's USB Converter || Cherry G80-3000/Clears

The storage list:
IBM Model F AT || Cherry G80-3000/Blues || Compaq MX11800 (Cherry brown, bizarre layout) || IBM KB-8923 (model M-style RD) || G81-3010 Hxx || BTC 5100C || G81-3000 Sxx || Atari keyboard (?)

The interesting thing is that the UK layout is identical to the US layout, except that the keys are located in different places. Although, if you set a US layout AT to UK, I'm not sure if the key to the left of 1 becomes |\ like on that keyboard, or the logical NOT/grave/half-pipe key that you usually get on a regular UK keyboard.

I've used a UK layout keyboard with the US layout no problem (the one in my avatar), even when I still had to look at the captions. You can also do what I have with my M and remove the key caps (they should be double-shot in the F too but I'm not sure). It changes the typing feel to more crispy and F is already more so than M. The result should be funny, like getting zapped by electricity on your fingers. ;) Naturally, if the only difference is key placement, not key number, you can just switch the key caps and forget it had come the other way.

I'm talking about the AT keyboard here. On the AT, the \| key is moved beside 1. This is not where it will appear if you set a standard US keyboard to have the UK layout. So I'm wondering if the UK AT Model F has a special controller.

On the flipside, the UK layout could have been different back then.

I think you mean 'double part' (double shot is something completely different). The AT Model F does not have double part keys, only single part ones.

Hmm, interesting... it could do with a bath though!!

Are the feet the same as on the XT model F?

Ditto for other bits - basically is an XT version useful for spares when fixing an AT version up?

If you aren't in the UK, I would be happy to receive it and forward it on - costs only.
