I'm open to suggestions. The size constraints (covering the logo completely but not the num/caps/scroll lock lights) might pose a slight challenge.

I can't think of anything to put over it.
If geekhack keys can be made, why not a custom geekhack logo plate?  Just an appropriately sized think black plastic plate that could be mounted with some sort of mounting tape or adhesive.  I don't know any companies who make such things but someone here probably does.

I'm getting this board today as well, I'll report my opinion; however I do not have any prior experience with mechanical keyoards.

Can't wait to play with my first! :D

I got one today.  I overcame my better judgement, all reason, and my budget and pulled the trigger.  It's my first cherry blue and I love it, not as loud as I had expected.  I'd take a picture, complete with red geekhack escape key, but my wife is gone with the camera.
The camera FINALLY showed up after being MIA for about a week so I'll take a picture if I can find time.  Although I think everyone knows what they look like by now.  My wife misplaced the camera but was insisting that I had it.  I was nearly positive I didn't but looked around anyway.  She on the other hand was seemingly so sure I'd lost it that she wasn't looking for it.  This past weekend she finally took a good look in her car and there it was.  Married life...

I'm not putting Wanna Switch on MY keyboard.  Too gay.  (damn the mods deleted it).

Could be just about anything...

Just go to any trophy shop and get a small piece made to cover it up, they've got super thin aluminum they can use and laser engrave whatever into it, comes with really thin double sided tape if you want it.  That's what we do at work for localizing our simulators, it's surprisingly cheap.
Currently GMMK Pro: lubed 68g U4T, FR4 plate, extra gaskets, etc

LOL no stickers, just emblems held on with good double sided tape.  Goo Gone + dental floss gets those off.  I kept the emblems when I partially debadged my BMW, but they're kinda big for the Rosewill logo.

I'll have to check this out.  I have seen some very thin metal these places have, although it's usually some bright intense color and/or some flashy pattern cut into the metai.  Have to see if could get something in flat black with a subtle or no label.

The ones we get made are like a satin black, laser burns through the coating and a few thou into the base aluminum.  Very nice.

What's gonna be on it?

"RoseWon't"?
If I get it locally as a one-off maybe "Pimped by TexasFlood",

Sure.  It was a good idea that I like.  I'm not thrilled with the idea of trying to remove the logo and risking damage which might look worse and quite likely be irreversible.  I'd much rather cover it up with something like looks nice but could be removed without damage.

Back to $85 on Chiefvalue (free ship) and Newegg ($8 ship). Gotta love the indecisiveness.

Oh, the "Medal of Honor" deal was a red herring.  It's part of the promotion that gets you the keyboard for $15 off but there is no combo deal with the keyboard.

What about a custom magnet?  Would it stick?  If not there is always the "colorforms" vinyl, maybe a bit of black would do it...

No, just US, Canada, Israel, and Japan are listed on Rosewill's site.

CNET Reviewed it. Apparently it only gets a 6/10 for features due to the lack of USB ports, and a couple points off of design for not being as glossy as the DAS.

Actually the writeup was pretty good.

Yep.  This is why Blue Cherry rules for typing.  The modern replacement to those old Buckling Springs.

What about the DAS' shape makes it so much more robust?

Quote from: CNET
The RK-9000 is as simple a keyboard as they come; the Das Keyboard is a better choice if you want dual-powered USB ports and a more robust overall shape, but that's not to say the RK-9000 isn't well-designed, either.

The Israel shop doesn't actually stock any Rosewill products, don't know why it's listed on their website.

Will let you know if I find a seller that ships internationally

Mine just showed up today, and I do have to say it is solid. Much better built than my Adesso MKB-135b, which will be sent back to Amazon soon. The Rosewill logo isn't that bad, and the LEDs aren't as bright as on the Adesso.

Ask Rosewill about it. As far as public announcements, no word.
