1. Introduction

Hello everyone, this is Sebastian from Stilou Studio.
Times have changed, and so have we.

We've updated our logo and revamped our website, all while preserving the core DNA that defines our design language.
After 9 months, we are back with our latest design (or rather, a kind of new one) called EXO.

2. Design



EXO was initially conceptualized back in 2021 and was intended to be the successor to the Beak 6.5.
However, the design proved challenging to execute exactly as we envisioned it.
After multiple redesigns, both functionally and visually, the EXO is finally here—three years later.

Featuring classic curves with a layered side profile, adding a great deal of depth to an otherwise flat object.
The EXO is a 75% top-mounted keyboard and includes a massive stainless steel weight at the bottom, which allows for the board's rear curve while providing a firm typing experience.

The X badge in the top right corner serves as an accent piece, highlighting the DNA of the board's design.

3. Specifications



- Exploded 75% layout
- Top-mount
- 7° typing angle
- 2.5 kg unbuilt (5.5 lbs)
- 19.86 mm front height
- 6061 Aluminum (Anodized)
- Hot-swap PCB (QMK, VIA compatible)
- Stainless steel weight and badge (Sandblasted)

4. Availability

The EXO will be limited to 25 units worldwide.
This allows us to ensure a lower MOQ, faster fulfillment, and greater customization options for each order (more colors, plate options, badges).

While a lower unit count inevitably leads to a higher price point, it ensures that we can fulfill all orders, no matter what.
The lower unit count guarantees this.

We are aiming for $450-500 price range.

The sale method has not yet been decided.

Expected sale is around September/October (Depending on feedback), with fulfillment anticipated to take place 4 months after the sale ends.

Each EXO will include the following items:

- 1x Unified C4 Daughterboard
- 1x PCB cable
- 1x PCB
- And a handwritten note 

6. Vendors

Due to the low volume, we will be the only vendor.
However, we have improved shipping rates and offer international shipping!

Standard plate material has changed from aluminum (5052) to PC (Sandblasted polycarbonate)

Four colors have been choosen Silver, Black, Ocean Blue, Forest Green.

Not quite sure yet. The lower quantity makes it difficult to estimate.
Aiming for $450-500 with an moq of 10, at this point in time.

Really really really interested in this but I would def like to see at least a 50 MOQ run to perhaps lower the cost just a tiny bit ($400 perhaps?)  and give a few more people a chance to nab this beautiful board. I really love the design Especially the exploded layout and the "X" blocker.

I personally will be keeping a very close eye on this board and I hope we get continually updates as the project progresses.

Have you thought about initial plate materials yet? For top-mount I would love to see pp as an option!

Ooooooh I LOVE these color choices. I would be so happy with any of these haha, and I think PC plate is a really good choice for top mount! Thanks for the update.
