Factory Lubed: Yes! Stem legs and stem sliders are covered with a very thin coat of 205g0. The spring and leaf are lubed with dry film. Everything else is dry. There is no lube in the bottom housing or anywhere near the stem pole. The chance that these get lube pooling issue is very small.

Why full POM housing?

Although a lot of people love the clacky and high-pitched HMX sound profile, we do receive complaints from time to time saying the clacky sound is a bit dry. HMX switches with nylon housing and POM or LY stem do sound very loud, clean, and clacky, but due to the nature of the materials, they also tend to sound thin and flat. If you ask me what could add this rich and vibrant sound signature on top of HMX's classic clacky and loud sound, I will tell you it's the POM housing.

The difference between these two switches
The only three differences between Cosmic Purple and Lunar Stone are: Stem material, stem length, and colors.
The longer LY stem makes Cosmic Purple louder and clackier than Lunar Stone switches. The POM stem makes Lunar Stone switches sound a bit quieter and thockier, just like how most full POM switches are. However, that being said, don't expect Lunar Stone switch to sound deep and thocky. You know how HMX is.

Molding Changes:
Because different materials have different shrinkage rates, the housing mold made for nylon couldn't be used to make POM housing. That's why HMX made this new set of POM housing mold. What's changed is that it's compatible with POM material, and the new housing allows light diffuser insertion. Even if you don't insert a light diffuser, the housing openning is big enough for a lot of RGB shine through. On top of that, HMX polished the POM housing mold to make sure the surface is smooth enough to eliminate excessive scratchiness.
