Today I would like to introduce a new project from Grit Works — the Jahre 65%.
This kit takes inspiration from classic Porsche 911 design language while bringing refined elements to a 65% keyboard platform.

Design Inspiration
The Jahre 65% is inspired by the first three generations of the Porsche 911 (901, 930, 964), models that have stood the test of time and evolution.
Among these, the Porsche 964 Jubiläumsmodell “30 Jahre 911” stands out for its widebody and commemorative details.
The widebody form, badge treatment, and anniversary identity influenced the character of the Jahre — classic, elegant, and timeless.

Name Meaning“Jahre” means “year” or “years” in German.
It represents longevity and endurance — qualities we hope this kit will embody.

Design ConceptThe design integrates subtle automotive lines while maintaining a clean, refined, and elegant keyboard silhouette.

Top Case (Front + Side)Each side of the top case features a shuttle-shaped curved edge that narrows slightly downward, referencing the subtle widebody stance of the 30 Jahre 911.
A fold line aligned with the bottom case curvature enhances the elegance of the side profile.

Bottom Case + NameplateThe bottom case incorporates rear fender tuck lines and hood intake elements into its surface treatment.
A sandblasted black anodized aluminum nameplate is embedded beneath, with flat polishing and secondary anodization highlights.

Internal WeightsThe internal weights reference the rear air intake grille form:
• Large stainless steel weight with RAW multi-line tool paths
• Engraved kit name
• Smaller weight with mirror silver PVD polishing

StructureThe Jahre 65% uses a silicone gasket mounting system with a Leaf Spring plate design.
The included silicone gaskets are reversible:
