GMK CYL EVIL LIME

Hi, im Nad and let me introduce my first set, Evil Lime — a set based on GMK N9 and CR base colors, and for the legends, I chose to use a custom purple and lime colors. To be honest, there's not much else to say; I just think they work really well together.

This is also a first step toward understanding the community's interest in this set.
Any additional kitting or changes to the base kit will be evaluated later.

Thanks, Yes, the alpha with lime legends is among the additional kittings I have in mind..But nothing confirmed.

i would be careful to not end up like darkskel, while people really like it i found it very hard to look at and much preferred my sky modo set

This is nice! I'd like to see it with darker alpha base color though (like, say GMK Slasher) to make the purple really pop more. I always thought that CR and N9 are actually slightly too far apart in terms of tint to work that well together.

Thank you! I thought about it, and that's why I chose not to use a darker purple (like the one of hyperfuse) but something in between purple and magenta... But I'll keep your idea in mind too

Pantone purple-c (pure violet) might be a good option to consider, since the 2070C you chose is still on a darker purple spectrum IMO

Sounds great! In case you do decide on this kitting. Any chance we would see renders of lime legends with black alpha's and with grey alpha's. So that we can see which pairing looks better? Either way I'm in!

Lose the purple alphas and stick to green as main,

Alternate alphas should be lime alphas with purple legends

I understand the skepticism, to have a comparison it would be very similar to darksel with the lime extension, for me it is a great combination but I understand that it is a matter of taste.

• I read a lot of feedback and they were very helpful, I decided to change the purple to improve the clarity of alphas, and to consider a possible full lime kit(with purple alpha as extension)... I created a form to understand your preference

Samples are arrived and i redid all the renders ( N9 were too light in the renders while in real life it is decidedly dark)

Lime 389c is perfect, the purple is a bit too light/lilac in some situations, I wanna try something more vibrant

that's a great followup with the renders.  I own all of the GMK sets with N9 and I definitely think the new renders look closer to my IRL experience.   :thumb:  Still makes me want the all lime version even more.  It looks amazing.  I do agree that the purple needs more of a punch to match that lime intensity.

I got permission and added the new GMK skulls in the accent kit, I think these can characterize the set even more.

And a reminder to fill out the form, is really important for kitting, also added new link for discord channel (it was expired)

-Still waiting the new quotes from GMK and new Purple samples, but there will be big changes in the base kit, I will update the new kits once I get the quotes, In the meantime, you can check them out on my Discord.

-For now, the poll shows the base kit with purple alpha slightly in the lead; I’m reminding anyone who hasn’t done so yet to vote if they are interested in the set.

-I’ve received the quotes from GMK and confirmed the new kits, which feature big changes like adding an extension kit. I invite you to check out the kits on top on the page.

-The purple in base is confirmed. I'm sorry for those who wanted the full lime, but given the poll results we've decided to stick with purple and lime as extension.

-GB date has not been confirmed, but it could be between September and early October.
