Inspiration


Inspired by the cold, divine moon of Neon Genesis Evangelion, this design merges its quiet apocalyptic tension with Y3K’s sharp, futuristic style. The chrome finish echoes the lunar surface, while low-saturation blue reflections capture moonlight’s serene glow. Stripped of excess, four-point stars reimagine the moon as if wrapped in the Cross Impact—reinterpreting EVA’s iconic imagery with cyber-futuristic impact.

The alpha white color looks like the plastic is "soft" or has a different texture. Or possibly like they are just the slightest bit transparent, as if their opacity is set to 97%. Is this an issue with the render? Or is there some sort of non-standard ABS formulation? I see the mods have a slightly wavy "chrome finish." Is there a finish on the alphas as well?

White presents a semi-transparent texture, similar to the finish of white glass lampshades. The grey adopts a metallic tone. The two hues blend together, embodying the harmony of yin and yang.
