And what about a 7bit keycap for this Round :third:

Having no 7bit nor iMav can't happen! It's a way to thank your work but you don't have an easy avatar to put on a keycap ^^

Thanks a lot!

It is not entirely my design, but I have my key already:

After thinking about it, frameless would most probably be better.

How much would it be for 8 (still ctrl/win/alt for Leopold/Archiss/ficlo) ?

Hail to the king, baby.

Yeah, I would be down for one of those. That would have to be yellow and red.

Will the pirate flag be on a ctrl/win/alt key or a normal key?

Would putting these double shot keycaps on a Filco with Cherry Browns have a big impact on key feel? (If you get what I mean)

Not really.
They are not that much thicker compared to Filco keycaps.
If you put on say... Cherry doubleshots, then there will be a different key feel in my opinion.

The OP says the Gamer Kits come with an "ANY KEY" key; but I'm guessing you guys mean just an "ANY KEY" key by itself.

Yes, it replaces the Windows key for those who love that ****ty Windows but don't want to pay for it.

Key feel will improve, especially because the Filco has very bad-quality keys!

ANY KEY is part of all those Gamer kits (ORANGE, WHITEONBLUE, RED).

Too many restrictions on process of making it in double shot so it was passed. Couldn't be made looking good.
So I should add something useless here yes? Ok, ok...

No, we will not close this.

After the deadline, the stuff in your invoice will become permanent, so you can only add more, but can't reduce it anymore. Prices might sink down a bit, but will not raise anymore.

If you receive the newsletter with the poll-statistics, you can see kits which have a ? before thier description. These are kits for which you will get invoices later, after the deadline.

Here is the list:

How long do you think it will take to sort 30'000 key caps and other stuff[1] into over 100 kits ...

I just this morning received my first Filco (Majestouch 105M UKB, Tactile) (not trying to steal the topic btw).  I have been using an IBM Model M as well as an older cherry up until now.

I am very impressed with the feedback and solid build of this keyboard and can not wait for the key caps to arrive now so that I can retro it up.

~~ Excited ~~

BTW : Are there any of the clear kits that have printed letters or are they all unmarked ?

Even if SP would produce the keys today and iMav gets them by tomorrow:

How long do you think it will take to sort 30'000 key caps and other stuff[1] into over 100 kits ...

[1] not considering most of the blank keys and other additional stuff not in the invoices right now!!!

It was a joke, I know quite well it will take some time just for this order to be filled.  Which I'm quite OK with, I have patience in spades.
Boldly going forward, \'cause I can\'t find reverse!

Currently, there are 31'360 key caps (or toy/tools) in the statistics.

Hmm, nerf me can't do anything right... 31 dm^3, not 3m^3... Still 31 litres of keys ;D
So I should add something useless here yes? Ok, ok...

All keys, put into a row whith their shortest sides (19mm) next to each other, would be 595.84m long.

It's gonna take 6 months just to sort the keys.  I don't envy you

31360/60/60
8.711111111

=> 8h, 42m, 40s

Should be doable!

I reallt got to do this considering larger keys, but for now: if these where all 1x1 keys, iMav needs a table with 3.364x3.364m^2 .

You mean that 1.5 units key in row 2 (QWERTY-row), right?

<>

I actually forgot µ was there as well...

So it would be:
µ
*  <>

If it's possible to have <> on the right lower-side of the key.

Will you create a reference for this ?

I'm also still waiting for your confirmation about UNIONJACK being borderless or not

Ask the Brits, or set up a thread with a poll:

- with frame
- without frame

µ is not text for SP, because they have only latin latters in their répertoire. We need to provide an SVG for your key.
=>
$5 per key if 25 keys are produced.

Sure thing, but I'm actually asking *you* what the UNIONJACK you added to your list refers to.

How could that not be in their "répertoire", since it's supposed to be part of the FR key set ?!

I must apologise for 7bit, he does not know what he is talking about.

I've sent PDF-s containing a lot of keys including those for FR layout to SP some years ago. And I got a response that these are doable.

On the other hand, I got a response to a requst about lambda, that this would require an SVG and that they don't have Greek letters.

I will ask for the mu.

So I guess SP might have started whining soon enough about some "odd" characters, if it wasn't for me *****ing about details, heh ?

I believe that 7bit is holding off from ordering (and invoicing us for) some of the less popular items for a bit longer.

Kit......................Qty (Category) (price/min. req. Qty.)

CLEARBLANKFUN..............6 (? Blank Function keys) ($6/15 #16)

I'm impatient and lost my way around page 54 of this thread.

Anyway iMav has my money.  If the clears doesn't happen I'll donate for the 1GB of image hard drive space I take up with Lego pictures.

The clear keys will happen. I just did not want to collect $$$ when we a bit later need only $$.

All kits for which you got invoices contained kits which where quite stable in terms of quantitiy. Also I need an invoice from SP about those to see if my price calculations where right. I hope Melissa comes back with her price today ...

BTW:
CLEARBLANKALP..............2 (? Blank Alpha keys) ($12/15 #37)
CLEARBLANKFUN..............6 (? Blank Function keys) ($6/15 #16)
CLEARBLANKRET..............1 (? Blank J-Return and 1.25 Shift) ($14/6 #2)
CLEARBLANK................15 (? Blank keys) ($24/15 #90)
CLEARBLANKMOD.............12 (? Blank modifiers including space) ($38/10 #19)

Looks great, those 6*16+2*37 extra keys sum up with the 15 90 keys sets virtually 17 90 key sets. 12xCLEARBLANKMOD are 2 more than required for $38/set.

@ripster: Why are you so pessimistic?
