You do it the wrong way round! First comes the idea of a key, then comes the name.

Also, it is too long.
What about:

FTCAPO 1

PS: Can you please tell us what kind of Space bar the Compaq keyboards have?

And also: What about the right shift is it 2 units wide, or 1.75?

Edit:
Wow: This is my 900th post!

White on dark grey (like the Standard kit modifiers) would be suitable for the Commodore key I suppose.

OK, the order-ID will be: COMMODORE

Price: $5 if 25 are produced.

Just vote

BTW when it is too late to add stuff?

I would likely add a 25 of each "MX"-key, but I need some help with someone to who has sample-chain and different switches...

Not sure, if I could sell these kits for around 5$ for 5 keys+shipping though... Have to consider this...

The trackball ones?

SPACEOLD (it also has an off-centre mount like SPACEPOS, but it is not used).
Right shift is 2 units with stabilizer.

Anyway these are .40$ each if 25 is ordered? So 5 different with 25 each equal around 50$?

Space bar is SPACEOLD, right shift is 2 units w/ stabilizer, like Soarer said.

I didn't see the need to ask for a kit, so instead I ordered a 2 unit horizontal blank.
However, some might like an actual DS shift.

I think you'll also want ONEHALFMOD (if you haven't spotted that already).

Possibly the 2 wide shift could be added there... ask very nicely and it might happen... (that's where the 1.75 wide shift for G80-1800 is).

I've ordered that kit, and I wouldn't mind getting a 2 wide shift... just in case I ever want it :-)

I thought about that as well. I will decide that later, but there will be for sure a 2 units SHIFT key.

This reminds me in a 1.75 units blank key for the reight shift position of the Noppoo keyboard ....

It is a 1.25 unit key for row 4 as a replacecment of the diamond key or the windows key.

[strike]The COMMODORE key was an actual key on the C64.  It was a modifier key, analogous to the "Windows" key of today.

As such:  I propose that this COMMODORE key should be the same size and profile as a "Windows" key.

Hmmm, I just realized there might be issues with my modifiers...
I have 2 Archiss and 1 Filco.
What do I need to make them all happy with their left shift, right shift, enter and backspace ?

I take this occasion to curse Filco for their crappy stabilizers (in regard to popping keys out).

You just have to live with the genuine Noppoo space bar until we pressed SP to make it.

Does that mean that SP could make a Noppoo spacebar in the future? Or did they make clear they just can't or really won't, no matter when or the volume of the order?

I'd be interested in a future MO for Noppoo, in classic white/gray, I think it's damn sexy.

Also, I just thought of something, about the window-keycaps-can-only-be-blanks problem. What if you just made a normal doubleshot keycap, but with the clear plastic for the inscription? I think some of the light could shine through. I don't have a keyboard with illuminated keycaps, but maybe people with illuminated capslocks could try that instead of a windowed blank or instead of making a hole in their doubleshot.

I'm curious about that as well.  I don't think there has been any discussion of the properties of the lettering material in a doubleshot.  For future reference, I want to know what SP is capable of in that regard.  Could a different kind of plastic be used for the infill like PBT, acrylic, or whatever material their clear keys are made from?  Could their clear keys be made as a doubleshot with an opaque material as the infill.  So many questions!

Don't worry 7bit, I won't fault you for not getting out of bed to write SP a letter. =)

I think I could live with that narrow "F".  I typically don't critique the kerning issues of things that I only use for raging on.

You're got serious kerning problems on that, Ripster.

Oh wait...stupid spaces.

Tasteful.  Direct.

Kerning needs work.

Alright, but when the Helvetica Police show up at my door I'm going to tell them Ripster made me do it...

EDIT - Realized I needed to embiggen it a little to fill the printable area.  Did not update the preview.

I love it. But the symbol is a trademark of Valve. You would probably need permission first.

A lambda on a domed Windows key would be a clever workaround.

I think we should get this finished up, and save some ideas for Round 4.

I want my keys dammit.

I just noticed this...is the RShift in the moogle kit different than the standard kit?

If it's centered, all caps, and with no arrow symbol, then it wont match the cherry shift keys

I was just humoring them.  I think the geekhack backspace deserves a chance since someone finished the svg today AND 7bit came up with code names for them... But we should probably cut it off there.

Off-Topic:

Proper addres-format is:

My Name
123 My Street
My Town
ZIPCODE
My Country

I'm not sure which new address you got from me (sent it twice by email and once by pm, lol), the latest one replied to gh_order didn't include a new name, I will send that now.

Sorry for the confusion.
