Hello..
Has order #239 been shipped yet ?
If so, could you PM me the shipping-address, I tried to change it, but am
not certain if the system picked up the new shipping-address ?

Thanks for the work you guys have put in to making this GB happen :)

I'm feeling a bit like that too - supposedly ten days since shipping and nothing yet.

It took 16 days for a Geekhack key order to reach me last year so I'm not worried yet.

Don't mean to make a fuss, but a couple of my keycaps didn't get included (SCWINTERRANx2). Is there anything that I can do to get them?

The 1.25 Terran keys are all gone.  There is a BIG discrepancy between what was ordered and what SP sent.7bit is aware and we'll work out something.

Bunch of us are waiting.  Just have to sit back and see what happens.

7bit just got back to me.  There is actually a 3rd batch.  My order is in that batch.  It hasn't been shipped out yet.  So I feel much better now knowing that my order hasn't been shipped yet, and it is not lost.

keycaps came today!

i think the blanks came out better than i had expected.  some of the novelty keys aren't 100% perfect, but are pretty good nonetheless.

i don't like that the profiles dont match filco keys, but that's ok because the difference isn't huge.

with 20/20 hindsight, i can say that imav is a trooper for sorting through all of the blanks and clears!

thanks again imav!

Yay!!! Finally got my keys in!

I am missing a few keys so far (haven't sorted the two blank sets). I didn't get the down arrow key or my two terran 1.25 keys.

I love the standard kit. Some keys don't look like they are pressed down all the way, but after a few days of typing I will take another look.

The one thing I am unhappy about is the black blank set i ordered is more of a dark gray. I am not sure if I got the wrong set or that is just how they black blanks are. My black keys with pictures like my terran/protoss esc keys are very dark black, which is more of what i was wanting.

I can't wait for round 4, I would love some different color/scheme standard kits and some more keys like the dice/nuke.

I will sort through my blanks this weekend and look over the rest of my order. Thanks for the hard work and the keys.

Somewhere deep in the Wiki, there are Ripster's recordings of MX blues with Cherry doubleshots and with Filco Kaycaps. In my budget setting, I still do hear the difference between lasered Cherries and Plu keycaps, Cherries having dampened, lower pitched sound. Is there somewhere the sound of the SP DS?

The doubleshots do sound lower-pitched than my default Leopold blank keys.

New classic Cherry doubleshots compared to 1/2 year and a few months old Signature Plastics.

They have a roupher texture similar to the IBM key caps. However, keywear is not similar to IBM :-(

I noticed an another little thing: the font on the GH DS is Arial. Helvetica would have been historically more appropriate to the looks of the Round Three. I haven't found any discussion on that issue.

There was.  Finding any discussion on a 5,241 post thread, especially with a Vbulletin search engine, is about as likely as Amy Winehouse's comeback tour concert.

Luckily the Key Ref wiki stickied above has all the details.

Well the Key Ref has led me to the thread about the SP way to make new fonts. But not really to why Arial was used. However, I'm not very sure it is Arial, probably still some kind of Grotesque. R speaks against Helvetica, C is too open for Arial I think.

There is Helvetica on the Dolch. But I also looked on some really old typewriter and they really have Grotesquesque:) , non-Helvetica R and that cannot be Arial (which was introduced in 1982 and conquered the world under the sails of Windows).

Really don't know much about it, just some superficial piece of information, would like to hear the correct answer.

Any chance of anyone starting a wiki entry, review, or other helpful thread showing off or discussing keys from these group buys?

It would help a lot to see how these compare to other keys out there.  I've heard questions regarding wear, fonts, etc. that could be useful.

I'm sure the organizers are super busy still with all of this stuff though.

I've been using those for monthes, and yes, they *are* slippery.

I guess some sandblasting would alleviate that problem, but I'm not equipped for that.
