Read the invoice you got. It says if you're ok with your order, reply back and include the original message and give your address. You'll get payment info afterwards.

I'm only ok with my order if we're able to get the blank keys I want too...should I just wait til I get the blank invoice as well?  Kinda stuck in limbo here =\.

I had not much time. I have to finish the mechanism which updates invoices rather than creating another one.

I will send separate invoices for those blank key caps and also for those kits which currently have not enough votes.

If all I have in my "non-blank" invoice is the key-puller, should I just pay for it, or should I wait to see the blank invoice first?

They include 2x ALT 2x CTRL

Edit: Now that I checked again... I am not sure myself anymore. If there is only 1 of each I may have to cancel my order on this too.

I'm still working on that script which updates invoices and sends them out. I hope I can get it running tomorrow.

I got a very unpleasant message from SP about blank key caps in stock:
She says that each key will be $1, but for sure we will get a rebate. But she does not say how much! GRRRR!!!!

However, at least they updated their inventory, so we know what they've got in stock.
Buy key caps here: Round 5

No problem. Moogle's thread about them is confusing as all hell so I wouldn't expect half the GeekHackers who read it to understand it. Basically if you choose to use original cherry doubleshot keys (generally people buy these from other members or swap them from inexpensive cherry boards), you will find that the bottom row of keys doesn't fit (ctrl, alt, win, menu and space). The moogle kit is a "patch kit" to fix that issue. I'm getting the white/gray kit so I can complete the look of my G80-3494 with vintage cherry doubleshots:

Here it is with the original keys that don't fit (I just popped the other caps and placed them on top). Some of the vintage cherry keyboards don't have win keys so I left the original ones on:

The advantage of using original Cherry Corp. double shots over the SP-made double shots in this group buy is that the Cherry ones are thicker and better-quality.

It's a patch kit for vintage cherry double shot keys. When you harvest the double shot keys from an old cherry board, some of the modifier keys are of a different size than the modern Filco/das/ducky sizes.

The Moogle kit supplements that and is essentially a set of modifier double shot keys. I hope I explained well...

$1 per key is pretty expensive considering it's blank and not double-shots..

Spherical replica addons

Quote
They are. Custom molds. Cost nearly $11 for each key or something. Moogle knows of them, but being spherical he has no interest since they are no real replacement. Their profile is about half as high as normal Cherry MX keycaps.

Wtf man. I was told it wasn't possible but the evidence shows otherwise.

But 11 USD per cap o.O; blimey.

that is like 3 (F9-F11) + 3 (capslock, numlock, capslock) = 66 USD ???

Spherical and half the height size of the normal cylindrical :X

I managed to get mine cheaper than that (sourced from donor boards). But still i think you should have told me about this :[

This is another way of saying the more we buy, the cheaper they get?

*Edit* One thing that I've been wondering for a while is how SP make sets. Are the keys made individually, making all the Escape keys, then making all the F1 keys etc. or can they knock out a set in one go?

That is what i am now wondering. Is it possible for them to make windowed led keys like that, but cylindrical and same height like a normal key for cherry mx.

The picture shown above is spherical and half the height of the regular keys.

If i remember what sixty said before, this was some specific mold for spherical keys, so there would be more additional costs to make another mold to do the same but for cylindrical keys. But not too sure on this. Maybe 7bit can help ask :X

The windowed led keys i proposed before, i wanted them to look exactly, the window embeded diagonally on the side, molded to the shape of the key unlike the Ducky's which was a crude paste on which was kinda ugly :d

SP has no own molds for the normal MX DCS profile. As said before, the ones shown in the picture are about half as high as a normal MX keycap. They were made after a custom mold, which is why the high price.

Signature Plastics does and will not offer in-key windows like this on their DCS profile keys, unless you come up with a custom mold for it.

Just sent in a CLEARALL and re-voted what I want (blackblank, blackblankmod, awesomeyellow, look of disapproval). Sorry :/ just trying to keep from paying for anything unnecessary to keep the price down!

He's doing this all manually so we should bear with him.

I think he should put down one more invoice to allow people to change their orders one last time and then start charging people.

As things I wanted didn't get enough votes, it would be be nice to see a list with items that have met required quantity to order and items that are numerically close.  I would like to order a full blank colored key set, but my color didn't get picked.
