They are rings of the plastic color samples for every color or type that SP can produce.  In case you want a reference for future orders.

150 is quite a few chips of plastic, but I was hoping they were a little cheaper.  35$ is a lot for a reference tool.

With which statement? I have to lean toward the conserative position.  I can only buy what I am able to use.  Although, I didn't realise until AFTER I purchased all those keys that I will have just as many LEFT OVER after I replace them all.... Hmmmm.

I will probably end up making some patterns or designs eventually.  Maybe I create some key art.  Not Sure.
