Yes, those that don't feel pompous, are clean and high-contrast, are visible in dim light, and just DO THE JOB.

If there is a designer on this forum who would prepare SVGs for 104/105 standard sets, maybe we could swallow the $25 setup per key and have proper font, trace width and positioning. If SP don't rescale/shift the images. But this could be avoided by providing a guard trace (in another color?) for their reference.

I thik it is, but I will get color samples (realy soon now) so I can compare myself.

I think they can do centered text most properly. Others might have different opinions ...

It will not be cheap but not too expansive. The more difficult thing is which font to use. Any ideas?

There is some fine art in the legend positioning and I have seen them varying in the different clusters, but I will mostly go with the flow.

I can't stand looking at serif fonts. I use Consolas on Windows machines and Monaco on the Mac.
Monaco is, in my opinion, the best monospaced font EVER. It's clear, yet not boring to look at and so pretty <3

SVG file prep should be easy to make as long as we're using a pre-made fonts.

Oh and i think helvetica would be great too

What SP has to say about fonts is this:

Non-Standard Fonts
There have been numerous inquiries as to the actual "font" that Signature Plastics uses for their standard keycaps. Over 30 years ago a font was developed, based on a modified IBM standard, using a Gorton engraving machine. Thus our standard font, Gorton Modified was born.There is no electronic file of this particular font, however Arial or Helvetica come very close.

Today we can offer 3 additional line fonts - subject to a fee:
- Fugue2_i3
- Isotherm
- Zbig

My vote goes to the Isotherm font.
