IT'S THE

NOMINATIONS!

Let's nominate 10 people to be contenders for the position of top troll of Geekhack.org. I'll leave this thread open for a little while and then make a poll and we can see who's the winner.

Typically, I dislike these stupid polls.  But perhaps we can use this one to the GH community's advantage.  How about a 10 day ban for the "winner" so they can reflect on their caustic behavior here?  ;)

So, we have the following nominated so far:

Microsoft Windows
ripster
msiegel
Computer-Lab in Basement
Pylon
iMav

(figured the, "if you post in this poll thread you are a troll" criteria was as good as any)

MW, I'd give it through the weekend and then setup the poll on Monday.  We can have the winner in a 10-day timeout by next weekend.

That's hilarious, at least until the point where the beer gut starts showing and the wife signs you up for another gym that has exhibited better results and is so proud of you for trying(thus making you actually want to go to the gym.)

Seriously though, gyms are good - go.

But seriously, the Spam Filter can greatly improve the forum experience. If people bother you, you don't have to read another of their posts again!

I should make another poll on OCN about avatars. It'll determine how many people who have pictures of hot girls as their avatars really are hot females. I'm predicting the result will be around 0.6%.

Is my current signature in compliance with the revised forum rules?

I never tried to get you banned, nor have I ever personally insulted you. There's a reason behind my signature. So why are you trying and stir up unrest in the community for no particular reason? If something about me bothers you, you can add me to your spam filter and you won't have to see my signature. You can call me a spammer, that's not that big of a deal. But saying that I go out of my way to constantly, personally insult other members is.

I had the "Spam Filter" in my signature for a good long while and then removed it and stopped ignoring Ripster and Kishy to see if they had gotten any better. Kishy still was rude to me, so I bashed him a few times and put him back on. Until he tries to make mends, he's staying there. And if you guys want to play "Signature Wars" and say worse things about me and spread them around the forum, you all can join him!

You see, the Ignore List is a good, useful tool. It makes a great spam filter. So if my signature bothers you guys, take its advice. Use the spam filter!
