How can I remove the print off my majestouch?

Hello guys,

Sorry for this most likely repetitive question but I searched and couldn't find anything on this.

Is there a safe way to remove all of the print on the keys? Some solution I should use?

I was reading a previous thread about something similar, and one guy used fingernail polish, but then ripster said that was 20% acetone and then a bunch of other crap you don't want on a keyboard so that turned me off.

May I ask why you don't just pick up some blank key caps?

Well, I don't really need an extra set of keys. Aren't they around $50 shipped from armygroup? Is there a better alternative closer to home (USA)?

If I can remove the print easily, I would prefer to go that way.

I thought using sand paper to sand the prints off is pretty safe... since you are not dealing with dangerous chemicals. Do be careful not to breath in plastic particles flying off from the sanding process though.

you could just get a black permanent marker, dunno how it would look though or for that matter how long it would last

It may be cheaper to just get them through 7bits group buy and they will be double shots then too

Just post a classified asking for blank keys or possibly a trade.

You could do it but it erases all the coatings of the keys and make the keys look dirty and not shiny.

I have done it with cheaper rubber dome keycaps, so I never do it with Cherry keycaps.
