Rounded edges add more width, since the top of the edge is just as wide as filco, and the rounding then adds 2mm on each side?
Random guess.

The width of the bevel is less on the left/right sides than the top/bottom?

Nope that's wrong, the bottom bevel actually seems to be the odd man out in being thicker.

So the frame is thinner, hence the smaller overall length?

How do you know why it's wider? Have you owned a Leo and I didn't hear about it?
Also, please tell us, mighty ruler of the keyboard world. ;)

Yep, and I get 355/6mm for the Filco.

Better if you ask to someone expert in basic keyboards, he will tell if is the border is larger, the key blocks are more spaced, or Mr Leopold has a wrong ruler...

I wrote alpha block by mistake I meant the keys blocks, btw the only other option is a slightly increased distanche from key to key, unlikely but possible.

Yesterday I learned that some logitechs have a not standard staggering on the numeric row, like the japanese HHKB, so all is possible.

You meant SOME Logitechs have nonstandard staggering.  Most are standard.

Indeed was already corrected, never reply before I read what I wrote.
