How hard is it to have the kids in taiwan switch out the browns/blues for reds.... Doesn't seem that hard to me

At the risk of pure rumor-mongering, I thought I read that the issue causing the 'limited' status was Diatec actually getting red switches from Cherry in the first place. Please correct me if this is blatantly wrong.

Regarding MX Reds, I have word from an authority on the subject that Diatec was not part of the companies that Cherry was giving the switch to so they took some of Costar's switches and smuggled them in to Taiwan. Something like that is why they're limited.

I heard a rumor that there would be a new stock on Amazon sometime in early September. What I am wondering is what was the pricing on Amazon?
I am looking for the tenkeyless with blue switches which would run about 169.50 USD from keyboardco.com, would I be able to save any money if I waited for Amazon to restock?

I paid $140 + shipping for my blue Filco TKL on Amazon a month ago.

Also I would rather have the ninja with blue switches but that seems like it will be even longer before they even start manufacturing non-japanese versions of those... I'll just settle for the non-ninja, I don't think I can wait that long.

The new Rosewill RK-9000's should be out soon in all 4 Cherry switch types. Made in the same factory as Filco (Costar), apparently. Should be nice and crispy

I paid $159.99 for my (full sized) Majestouch-2 Ninja. The main benefit of buying from Amazon is that if you're a student you can sign up for the Amazon Prime trial and get $3.99 overnight shipping. That's what I did! It was amazing the Filco on my doorstep the next day.

As hashbaz said, I think the Tenkeyless on Amazon was cheaper at $139.99, but like I said, the main benefit of Amazon is cheap shipping, weather you can get Prime or not.
