I'm very surprised you would place Cherry as second. My impression from many reviews is that the Cherrys are not of the highest quality.
I'd be interested to hear how the Cherry stacks up against the PLU G3000 NKRO and Leopolds.
Yeah, other than
maybe the key caps (which I anyway immediately replaced with some group buy 3 double shots) my Cherry G80-3494 wasn't impressive at all when it came to quality.
from my experience: Filco >>> 6Gv2 > BlackWidow / G80-3494
My Filco just feels incredibly solid, and since I've replaced the key caps I've removed its one glaring weakness, of which the stock key caps were already better than those on my other keyboards
The 6Gv2's downfall is very lousy key caps. The lettering is above average and won't wear off easily (laser + infill) but will stain easy and several keys don't fit nearly as snug as the keys on any of the other boards (some feel like they could fall out if I turned the keyboard over and lightly tapped on the back). Whats more is that the caps aren't easily replaced when considering the non standard key layout (giant enter key, etc) and a few dual function F keys as media keys
BlackWidow's downfall is that it just looks and feels cheaper (mostly in the key caps and front casing) than the other boards (although at least its plate mounted) and again the unique key layout makes replacing them tricky.
My G80-3494 feels really good overall when just typing on it, I'm not heavy handed enough to notice or care about flexing due to PCB mounting but just picking it up and handling the board it just screams of cheapness.
