On the kinesis it looks like the capslock key is a 1.25 key? Is this correct so I could remap it ctl or alt and then just put on a normal alt or ctl key?

Not quite. It fits, but the shape of the key is a tiny bit different.
On the
Kinesis Advantage
, the
,
,
, <'> and '#' keys have the profile of the home row -- not that of the bottom row.
