Does anyone know what this thing is. I paid $4 for it. Its a 5 pin DIN connector and has ALPS switches.

It has a built in calculator too. That's why I grabbed it. It was unique.

Looks like it is a Focus Fk-5001.

nice, that's exactly what it is. I'm typing on it now. Very nice feel to this thing. I just bought a Rosewill RK-9000 about a week ago and my wife is demanding to know why i'm using the $4 goodwill keyboard.

I think I'm getting hooked on this forum and keyboards in general.

Lucky find, all I ever see at charity stores is rubber domes. I bet it has programable keys too.

Keys are all double shots. There is a macro button. I love the eight arrow keys. They work too.

Scratch that. Theres a triple shot on here. =S

EDIT: nevermind. its a double shot with printed text on the front side.

And NO, we didn't buy panties at goodwill. Its probably vintage clothes. My wife buys vintage clothes at goodwill and resells them.

I'm pretty sure they're complex ALPS.

There is old keyboards there all the time... I'm hoping to score some replacement key caps one of these days... It looks a bit toothless.

It has been so long since I used a Focus FK-2001 I had forgotten all about them. It wasn't until recently when I wanted to build my own keyboard that I returned to a mechanical keyboard. I'm running on a Cherry G80-8113 right now. I love the tactical but the keys are a bit too stiff for my liking. Wish I could find some Reds to try out, typing on a Cloud of B..bs sounds like fun.
