Keyboard from Corsair and no tenkeyless version?  Me think they should stick with just RAM & PSU. lol  Although I like their computer cases (using an Obsidian 800D right now). =D

Those look like solid gaming boards and the price seems decent too.

Actually you're right.  I just saw the prices and they seem pretty reasonable.

Hey these would be easy to clean.. just one swoosh from compressed air and off all the dust goes!

Nice concept, which it came in tenkeyless though :(

BTW, thumbs up for sharing!

definitely an interesting design with the switches rest on top of the plate and no cover essential and I like the extended wrist rest on the FPS model... But would have liked to see it in a tenkeyless model.

What about that textured spacebar?

They're reasonably priced, but they need to be tenkeyless. I mean, which gamer uses a tenkey?

I do like the one-handed palmrest, though. I'll reserve judgement on the case until I see more pictures.

$109 seems like a STEAL. How much were folks paying for that TypeNow Solid with an aluminum case?

I don't think it's too bad looking...

I don't see why there's so much whining going on here.

This is by far the most unique looking (normal-layout) board I've seen so far. Not having a bezel and having the brushed plate just gives it that kind of mechanical sexiness to it. Like how looking in the engine bay of a ferrari makes you a bit hard, if you swing that way.

I've got to say though, I can definitely see why you guys don't like it. It almost looks a little...too bare. Like if you saw a girl walking around a shopping centre with only her underwear on. You'd enjoy looking at it, but you can't help but think it looks a bit wrong.

At the end of the day, I think corsair have taken a gamble and it's paid off. They've obviously seen razer, coolermaster, steelseries, and some asian fecal fetichests (rapoo, noppoo, mypoo) doing their thing and they've gone for differentiation. And it's met it's design requirements easily.

Having blabbed on about all that, it's exactly the sort of thing I'd love to see sitting on my bench. Now, about those half naked ladies...

Wait, so how do reds compare to browns and blacks for gaming? I've read a lot about browns and blacks but nothing about reds.

That MMO one looks massive length wise. How long is it compared to a G80 POS, about the same?
If you live in AZ you can try my keyboards. I usually keep plenty of different ALPS and MX and buckling springs.

Those textured keys are certainly something different though not sure about the 2 piece look on the red ones. It might do better if it was black anodized though. I haven't seen any Corsair cases in plain aluminum and matching their cases could have been a selling point for some.

If only it was a brushed black aluminum color (which I'm sure they'll do when they decide to actually release this) and remove those extra media? keys on the from the frame, it'll look a million times better.

I use the numpad for FPS games, sadly. With how much I love tenkeyless these days I wish I learned using something else. Because of this my two boards at home are full size and my work boards are tenkeyless.

mod a nostromo n52 with cherry switches and you'll get the best of both worlds and have a 4 way thumb switch. Oh and i gamed mmo's for 10years using the numpad too as well.

Corsair didn't want it leaked yet?

Remember all those stories about the prototype iphones getting lost, etc. Some companies are really intense about their stuff.

Also, Ohright about garry's mod. I need to play through that again soon.

http://www.pcgamer.com/2011/09/16/corsair-gets-into-keyboards-and-mice/

They showed them off at a trade show and put them on their own site, so they're public. It makes zero sense to try to get the photos off the web.

Now, HURRY UP, CORSAIR! I want the k60 in UK layout asap!

Looks very interesting. I like that they've put a bit more work into the WASD cluster and Spacebar - I play alot fps and those key's always wear/fade the quickest. Also, from all the pics I've seen so far i can tell that they go with both ISO and ANSI layout variants.

Nice. Though I think I'm more interested in the mice in this case. I've got a roccat kone plus that I would be happy with if the scroll wheel didn't have a problem. I could send it back if I'm okay with keeping 60% of what I paid for it...

Other Corsair products I've owned have been and are still working great.  Hopefully these keyboards and mice will continue that trend.

made my day

i seriously like the design and the whole conept of those boards... if you get K90 and the wristwrest and red keycaps of the K60 you would have the best of both...
i searched for a minimalistic board with reds or ghettoreds but ... **** that **** i ll just get a glowy bigassi corsair K90... the plating looks solid because of the high alu plating and the only thing that could suck are the keycaps!
if the dont do the $->€ **** they have a deal

thos macros could be a good thing for my SC2 :D (yeah i know they are not allowed)

It's not a game, but some 3D modeling packages like Blender require the use of a numpad for viewport navigation. It's the reason tenkeyless isn't an option for me.
