I don't know where you are located. But unless you are in Korea, you I doubt you are, you can't buy from iomania.co.kr or leopold.co.kr. They don't ship outside of Korea as far as I know.

If you want to order an 87U anniversary edition, PM kant1971 here on geekhack. The keycaps that you just ordered through the group buy thread here are also available through kant1971. Here is a link to the keycaps on iomania.co.kr.

You could order an 87U and a set of keycaps without paying extra shipping for the keycaps.

It is hard to say how limited it is. No one knows except Leopold.co.kr and Realforce in Japan. I would like to think that it is limited. Somewhere here or on deskthority that I read it is something specially made between Korean Leopold and Realforce in Japan. I casually searched a few days ago and I didn't see any anniversay edition availabe on the Japanese sites I searched.

The body of the keyboard is the same as the regular 87U except it has red LEDs instead of blue (really not a big deal). The real limited feature at this time is the colors of the keycaps. There are realforce keycap set you can buy, but so far they are single color per set (blue, orange, white, yellow). This anniversary edition has a blue/grey two-tone color combo. It the grand scheme of things it is not that big of a deal. But I would like to think that its resell value would hold up well, especially if it is sold out later.

If you don't already have a Realforce, then I would say buy this. If you already have an 87U or money is tight, then don't get it. Don't over extend :-)

Received mine from Kant very quickly. It shipped on October the 6th from Korea and I got it in DC over the weekend! Sorry for the blurry pics; my iphone is my only camera atm. First picture is the anniversary edition and my 45g board, and the second picture is the anniversary edition with the extra keycaps, cleaning cloth, and key puller.

Mine was delivered on Saturday but I wasn't home to receive it, now I have to wait till tomorrow since today is a holiday, I know eh it took like 2 days to get here from Korea, that's pretty fast

Guys, this 10th anniversary thing is just a marketing gimmick by Leopold. If you look at the Topre official site, the only official versions are the variable force ones (86U 103U what have you), the rest are considered "Customized" Realforce keyboard requested by different keyboard vendors. If I understand it correctly.

Yep, South Korea and the USA both use ANSI layout. You could say the same thing about all the 88-key ISO versions that keyboardco.com sells.

Super nice looking board. I really need some of that cyber clean. The shiny coating on these Leopold Realforce keys can get kind of greasy.

Let me know how it does. I'm curious if it leaves any residue behind.

Great photos litster. I wasn't wild about the blue keys in the original product pics but your photos have changed my opinion a little. Grey key caps look suitably awesome, too.

i prefer 55g over variable and silent would be a nice addition. I wonder why they dont make those do not enough people buy the 55g?

Silent is over-rated in my opinion. When you buy the silent version, you don't buy it for your own self. You buy it for people who might sit next to you while you type. Unless you type in a crowded room that is super quiet, silent is pointless. The regular version is plenty quiet. Quieter than my Filco red. And part of the enjoyment of typing is the positive feedback you get from your fingers' feel *and* the keystroke sound your ears hear.

Also, the silent version's key travel is shorter (maybe 2mm shorter?). That would not be what I want.

A Family portrait of my 87U keyboards.

It is very easy to open up Realforce keyboard cases. So I swapped the top cases around. The white/beige keycaps look very nice with a black body. The grey/blue combo looks good with white body as well. Yellow keycaps don't work with white body.

Take the last photo, switch the white body with a black one and substitute the blue keys with the yellow ones, and you have a board that really is too awesome for words.

I am really liking the white/grey keys on black body combo and dark grey/blue on white body combo.

It seems kind of random to make this anniversary version's pinky keys 30g weight. But the pinky keys feels the same as the regular variable (35g/45g/55g). I can't tell the difference.

Got my 55g anniversary edition with acrylic roof and wood palm rest. The acrylic on the roof doesn't have rounded edges like on my full-sized roof from EK, bummer. No yellow Ctrl or non-printed top row keys, guess I ordered too late for those. Did anybody get the yellow controls at all? Anybody willing to part with the 12 function keys for the right price?
