I understand what you are saying. The hardest part to build an aluminum case is to digitize the case into a CAD program, and know what bit sizes to round out the corners, especially the inside ones. As you know, since you are asking, once you have the file, you can make as many as you want. It could cost upward a few hundred dollars to laser scan one, and many more hours of labor to fine tune the file through trial and errors. I would be happy if imsto would share it. I don't think him or anyone is obligated to. Why would you think he is not out to make a buck?

If it was so easy to create the CAD file and that it is not a secret, we should be seeing plenty of these aluminum cases for all kinds of keyboards already.

If I have the file and somebody need it I may send it after a promise of keep it not for business usage...but I do really not have it.
whatever, if u think make this kind of stuff can make money then u r totally wrong.
very few people would like it. because it's actually too expensive compare to normal keyboard like dell,logitech,hp.......

Define business usage? I would like to make maybe 10 of them for people here in the US Canada and sell them at cost. I don't wanna make any money off of it. I just know there are a lot more than 12 people that would like one of these, including me.

THis poker keyboard is harder to type on then expected I have to say I keep pressing \ instead of backspace my HHKB habits are kicking in for this same size keyboard ;(

im developing a board to replace the keyboard but still fit the case... I got the layout worked out on the DOX keyboard theard... I'm still working on fitting the teensy in without having to mod the case.. I have an idea for that but haven't had time to input it yet... i'll try to finish it sometimes next week

Yea, I use autohotkey for the non HHKB boards. Also, I can't use the arrows and right windows key at the same time on the poker.

I know what you mean I keep going for the HHKB arrow keys everytime i use any other keyboard besides it, at first I was like I hate these arrow keys now I'm so used to them time to see if theres any program I can swap the \ for backspace on mac

Still this aluminum casing is going to make this keyboard much better lol
