Looking great, great job cycloverid! Finally I've understood what was exactly one of the "kerning problems" I was pointing earlier, which isn't any so to speak, but an a issue in the way the curved slope affects legend making. The reason the c still seems a bit to the left (legend narrower) when compared to an original Cherry key, despite your perfectly nailed line width, shape, kerning and size, seems to origin in a shortened width E on SPs part. So to speak, due to the slope, it's width should have been measured not in a perfect top view but accounting a bit of extra width as the SP keys are a bit more cylindrical on the edge.

Shame about the ISO shift, real silly mistake of SP to make.

Yup, I just sent Melissa an email politely requesting a re-run of the 1.25x Shift and Win keys.  We'll see what she says on Monday...

Stupid SP! How could they get the ISO shift wrong!?
I hope we can have it fixed. Looks great otherwise! Thanks for the great job, hashbaz!

So how does this work? Do we get our keycaps then get the replacements after they are done? Or do we wait until replacements are done to get everything together?
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.

I think that will depend on how long replacements will take.  The extra shipping is the main issue.  If it was a few people I'd just eat the cost.  But it's every single order. :-|

I think the best thing to do is let each of you decide whether you care about replacements or not, and whether you want to wait.  I'll continue packaging the keys up and start mass PMing once I know the details of the replacements.  If I don't hear back within a week, I'll just send out the keys.  If you already know what you want to do, feel free to preemptively PM me. :)

I also asked Melissa to replace the off-center diamond Win keys.  The problem is subtle, and I half expect her to argue with me about it.  But I noticed it immediately when I saw the keys in person.  I'll try to get a good image of just the diamond key.

I could live with the off center diamond, but the ISO left shift is exactly opposite to what we asked. So if that will be remade, I'd take the chance to remake the diamond too, and in a stronger shade of yellow.

It's subtle, but that picture makes it look like it's definitely off center. Again, if SP will replace it, make 'em do it, but if it's a hassle, I'm personally fine with it.

Let us know when local folks can pick up please :)

Yeah, it's subtle but noticeable, especially from a 45-ish degree angle.  Like I said, I noticed it within 5 minutes.  I could live with it, but I do consider it an error so I'm going to try and get it fixed.  And I'll try for a shade of yellow that works better with the white legend.  Probably YBP from sixty's Rebel kits.

Wile I prefer perfection on my meta-key, I'm cool with it being off center. If SP wants to remake them properly, I'll wait, but if it's going to be a hassle, It's not worth it. B'sides, I fully intend on replacing it with a glider key if R4 ever finishes.

I ordered a lot more keys than I thought. So exciting!

Any chance you can add new orders for entire kits while you are at it? Or just wait for extras after re-run dispatch?

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.  There won't be any new full kits produced -- just the two keys with issues.  There are some extras from the first run (which will get corrected keys of course), but they won't be available until I take care of the original orders.
